In my day you were not able to attend to Mail medal if you had been reported during the season.
Is this still the case? media/coyt/tangle

I believe you can attend...

There's something about "official League functions" when you are CURRENTLY suspended- but no-one is...

Late mail sees hundreds of dollars thrown on Michael Burgoyne, after the doyen himself picked him to win the damn show!

Great to see the tigers turn out in full force unlike other clubs tonight. Well done to Brian Ramsey on a great job as MC.

Why dont we get more votes during the season?

What did everyone think of the night?

Beer was expensive. I bought a jug and it cost me $22.50. I also bought a beer for $7.80.

Premiership odds

TFC $2.50
MPFC $2.50
LSFC $8
WFC $8

MM

P White $3
M Keatley $4
A Jericho $4
Semmler $8
Any other player $2.80

Tasmans - very even across the board which is there attribute this season and expect the votes to be spread out. Semmler to poll the best and may be a chance if he gets the big votes.
Lincoln South - 2 stand out players who are well above their teammates, could take votes of each other but if one of them gets the majority he will win.
Demons - Keatley again a stand out, but plenty of other talent to get votes JCS , Kelsh, Goodwin, Hunt, Vogels ect.
Peckers - Very even and the stars have not played enough football to feature.
Marble Range - Side will simply not get enough votes.
Tigers - No?

Congratulations to White and Semmler and Gill

Found this above quote from a month ago. Not far off the mark westcoastpanther

Not to deliberately put a damper on the proceedings, but the highlight was obviously the blind drunk MPFC player that threatened to kill me...

Congrats to Paul White (winner), Carl Semmler (ineligible), and official runner up Matt "the Gun" Keatley", on the League trophies...

Muzza's goal kicking, Ziek Kay's U21 trophy, and Semmler and Joeseph Burgoyne tying for the Team Man gold...

Rob Gill in the two's won his second B&F gong in three years, with Ben Bartley (the Souths one) coming second, and Russ Carbine the Goal Kicker trophy from Mallee...

Good work to the winners.. Great year thus far...

I recall a few years ago that a few players were barred from attending future medal nights, because of their conduct on the night...

I doubt the PLFL would do anything over what he said to me, but the reports of what I heard he said to Dirty Harry, were absolutley filthy... and it wouldn't surprise me if he preened his chest and made a big deal of it...
