Thank you for your kind words DW! it does seem to be getting a little easier after the first month or so! there seem to be pretty good numbers at training. lots of younger guys, young manny has been running like a gazelle. fair handful of senior players as well. talk that bangers might even make an appearance next week....don't know about this instability that you speak of dreamer. i'd say it's a fairly settled group and might even be a bit tighter knit than last year. but that's just my view, we'll have to wait another couple of months to see if we're still around the mark. byrnesy has slotted in well and i wouldn't say the running is putting too many off.

Manny is going to be a star.
As for Bangers - training!!!!
However, it will be more of a miracle if Evans trains. lol

Ben Avery's knee held up in the B and S moshpit, good sign for Loxton.
David Byrnes' form was also admirable.

Picked up from the RFL website that James Abdulla and Gilbert Taylor are playing for Ports over here on EP. They are being cleared from Barmera but didn't they both play for Lyrup at some stage.
I'm reading a book about anti-gravity. I can't put it down.

They played for Barmera last year, I think.
But previously did play for Lyrup.

There's a Gilbert Taylor that played for North Whyalla last year, his brother Kevin plays for Mannum, must be a different Gilbert Taylor.

I'm considering suing a local rag for character defamation.
Great people they are.

Have some small clarifications here.

A) For the record, what was said was "That ball was rubbish."

B) My constant vocal taunts were to get Peter Safralidis to bat and bowl.

When i say "GET SAF ON", it was simply to give our team the best chance of winning.
demanding it 50 times throughout the day was paramount to getting our team to where we got.
All out for 98, but the most ineffective bowler, Saf, the most ineffective batsman (who struggled to lay bat on ball continuously for three overs of the best, Saf.
Did Saf pull off a brilliant run out or take a wicket?
No.
Yet i am the berated publicly.
I will have my vengeance.
It will be swift.
Rest assured Saf, i would check your shoes each day before putting them on...

Haha.
Nothing wrong with getting ducks mate.
That was my favourite animal when I played cricket.

So Saf can expect a bit of payback then?
