Berri's Pete Safralidis would have to be the fittest looking player at this stage of the season I have ever seen.
Ever.
He'll win the mail medal this year.

Yeah definitely a good pickup for the Rovers here... hard at it, in & under type with good skills. Fair bit of size about the lad & I imagine he'd play in the pivot after the void left by retired super coach Buckers 8)

Hey BD, hope your Anchorman has been propped up against the front bar & honing the drinking skills... has alot to atone for after last years effort... might have to get him running water all day so he doesn't start drinking at breakfast time this year LOL...

And yes the "challenge" was mentioned on the first night of pre-season training... getting the serious stuff sorted out first down our way!

Yeah Wags will be a solid pickup for us. Top bloke too.

Yeah our anchor was pathetic last year. Hopefully he won't even be making the trip down there. I elected to work on my drinking rather than my fitness last season so I'll be fine form. Good to hear you blokes are prepared...you'll have to be! :D

well not much happening it looks like. loxton training is going pretty well. leigh kruges seems to be enjoying the freedom of just being a player this year, look for big things if he remains fit. byrnes seems to have slotted in pretty well and should bring a good attacking style to the club. looks to be a very handy player too. bronte manuel looking set for a big year, be interesting to see if he can break away from the tagger's role. well that's the lowdown

RFL going to start under 13's at 9a.m this season, want to try and save time by keeping A grade sides on the oval at 1/2 time with a 10 min break - thoughts???

Interesting move to keep teams on the ground.
Does this happen anywhere else?

I like that idea, goes away from normal tradition of sides going in at half time but as a player half time is too long. You lose momentum, stiffen up a bit and it just is too long. So a good idea for mine.

I think it's a great idea.
Having coached under 13s last year, it was very difficult for the lads to cope with the temperature in the mornings.
I know it's only half an hour, but any frost etc was normally gone by 9am.

Peter Safralidis missed Monday's training after getting a flatty in Adelaide, and was unable to remove the wheel nuts.

Anti-clockwise Peter.
Anti-clockwise.
