So here's the way I see things...

When a club is fined, they have seven days to pay that fine, or they are supposed to face the tribunal...

Now... if someone is required to face the tribunal, they cannot play until they have faced the tribunal, and sat out their sentence, or payed the fine imposed...

So what happens the day after MPFC beat Tassies for the flag?

Do TFC make a complaint that MPFC were ineligible to play because they had not yet faced the tribunal for the non-payment of their fines?

Next... Will any club have the stones to object to MPFC's re-affiliation to the League?

Interesting couple of months ahead... :D

KWF - i didnt think you were having a crack at all. But I see no reason to offer up my thoughts, that could be twisted or turned to suit the trolls on this site. The bottom line is that Mallee Park, as of six weeks ago, became a very difficult team to beat.

Next thing... Will any club attempt to make a change to one of the following:

1/ The PLFL Executive

2/ The tribunal, and set penalty implementation

3/ The residency rule

The Residency Rule is an SANFL ruling not PLFL but during the off season there will be some dialogue
as to how this system is being abused by some clubs, my own personal thoughts are that if a player enters into a new league
for the purposes of work after the 1st of July then the club he chooses may play him, however only one player per club is able
to take advantage of this rule, any subsequent or additional player to that club must play on permit only and cannot participate in the finals series, this to be limited to two players. The 'approved' player must play four games in the minor round
in order to qualify.

I'm hearing you Ken, but as a Ramblers man, you might want to pass on to a PLFL club delegate, if you have one's ear, that we (the PLFL) only have to follow the SANFL rule if our constitution (the PLFL Constitution) is silent on the matter. ;)

Therefore, if a dedicated delegate was to draft a new part for the Constitution, and get three other clubs to back it, then we (the PLFL) could have whatever "residency rule" we desired... :D

Which could be just what you posted up ^^ there...

But like I said, difficult for you to achieve, being a Ramblers man... ;)

Thats interesting MP we dont have to many problems at Cummins
but maybe some like minded clubs down your way could solve a few problems.
From the outside its seems like one particular team has got away with a lot
because of the lack of cohesion amongst the others. Perhaps the presidents
should get together over a coffee and then "instruct" their delegates
as to the outcome their clubs want.
