Two Wells and Hummocks are probably the big winners out of the draw as they are the only two clubs that play Hamley or Angel Vale 3 times.

The draw is the same as last year, with Hummocks and Two Wells perhaps getting a slight advantage in percentage by the end of the year. However apart from Mallala who are very good, the other 5 teams are the most even I can remember which is fantastic and all still need to play each other.
Any team that makes the 4 at the end of the year will earn it.

On a seperate note, very impressed with Two Wells Saturday.

Jamie Humphrys, Tallan Leighton, Harrison Gameau, Theo Markou all to come back into that side too.

Be very interested in how United go against them. Is Travis Beard getting flown back from Sydney each week?

 We are happy to have him. 8)

3 Rnds to go, Balaklava has AV this week, TW v Hamley , Mallala v HWE , United v Virginia- Would think Balaklava/TW have the easier run over the next 3 weeks, But anything can happen in Footy.

This was only 3 weeks after he belted a Mallala player behind the play and broke his jaw - for which he got a suspension of just two weeks. The tribunal had an opportunity to send a clear message for a despicable behind the play coward-punch for which the Mallala player sustained three fractures in his jaw and has been forced to miss 6-7 weeks of footy, and it chose not to. Rather he was given the prescribed two weeks and a pointless 4 week suspended sentence. I can't understand the logic in that, particularly given he already has a history of being suspended - give him 6-8 weeks for a coward punch, not two!!

Do junior suspensions count towards your 16 game lifetime de-registration?

Virginia's A Grade team has come together nicely at the right time of the year and is looking bloody strong for tomorrow's match. They are going to be bloody tough to beat over the next 8 weeks if they all stay fit.

This weeks huge encounter between TW/Virginia will decide the Finals set-up, The 4 is set but that 2nd spot I think will fall in TW favour with them meeting AV in the last rnd, Virginia will need both wins in the last 2 rounds(Which they are more than capable of doing) Still think TW will be too strong this week- But footballs a funny game.

Seems there was ordinary umpiring at all the games this weekend.
Virginia & two wells seen some very average umpiring in A grade & B grade.
Including a Virginia player in the B grade who has a huge tribunal record Blatantly striking a younger two wells player 5 times to the head and only getting a yellow card. Then to only come back on and throw more cheap shots around the ground.
Why continue to let a player with a history get away with this behaviour?

Not much happened to be honest but I sense a bit of fallout will come out of the game unfortunately.
There was a small scuffle which broke out seconds before the half time siren. Got slightly bigger cause the siren went, I reckon atound 7 or 8 from each side then it seperated.
Umpire then wanted to make a report but didnt know who to report so has instead reported the whole A grade side of United for being in a melee.
Didnt report Malalla so I guess we were wrestling with ourselves

So what happens now
Never heard of a team being reported
Is it a club report perhaps
Maybe this umpire should've been at Virginia going by snags view
