that's all well and good OL and yes he put's in the hours however seeing the League refuse to spend their pot of gold on any upgrades then maybe they could pay to have ground cleaned up. I did notice it was the cans and bottles cleaned up as the rubbish was still there Sunday

more of an issue would be the drunk natives jumpin the fence and pizzen all over the bar/canteen and the walloper beltin that f&@#en TV cabinet. Having kids and women having to go to the canteen for drinks and food under those circumstances was a *&%#en disgrace.

i missed the last part Tiger, and I was, for a fair portion of the A Grade game, standing by the bar- only person closer than me was the PLFL/safooty.net appointed security officer, Another Grub...

yeah fev did get a couple. depth will be tested this week. have got that guy from cowell coming wed nite to help us out. 2 will not make it and possibly more. wasn't a good day for injuries but we move on because they were not the reason we lost.
just on clayton's win, and i know acock is a troll but he is an ep player, so no mug. he also polled a massive 46 votes compared to hazel, runner up with 28. most years you would win with 28.
he is a product of the westies footy club in the far west league and they over the moon with his win. adien barns won the b grade and lochie paech won the colts from our club so hopefully after boths sides losses and injuries on the sat things are on the up.

Now Lochie Paech is an interesting one for the PL trolls...

Kid can definitely play- I consider him as good as one W Roderick, who most PL junior footy followers have a massive roger for- well done to the lad!

Millard made EP didn't he? I'm pretty sure Hazel did the last couple of years, so he (Millard) has obviously beaten some handy candidates...

I assume "them" is drunk people Tiger, not a societal stereotype... ;)

I saw a lot of people who shouldn't be there (too pi$$ed), and each time I went and told a "League" person, you know what happened?

They called the cops! I mean, hire security, have the prancing peacock floating around, and they called the cops...

Then to top it all off, the cops removed a couple of people who were not causing anyone grief, and left the rowdy fellas alone...

And just as a cop was removing someone from the bar area, one fellow jumped the fence to get into the ground, and no-one gave a hoot...

lochie is a very good player, but he hasn't played senior footy yet (might this week!) and i think after the headaches jack haarsma gave me on sat he is better at this stage.
millard 46
hazelgrove 28
g pedler 26
s blacker 25
james pedler 22

handy names i would say

All very quiet from our Demons friends this week. TRR I would like to see one of your informative assessments
on the game, I know its pretty dissapointing but your thoughts would be of interest to us all.

KWF - yes as a Demon supporter I am disappointed with Saturdays result - but I reckon at the end of the major round there will be two other teams disappointed that all their hard work over the pre-season will not produce the ultimate result. Having said that, Lincoln South and Tasmans have certainly built up their playing stocks and added some stabilty to their football departments moving forward. That can only be a positive from those clubs point of view.

I am assuming at the Demons, there will be a review of the season, great to hear that Horgs is coaching again next season (as far as I know), they will identify specific areas of development and discuss processes to address those and look forward to next year.

TRR do you think that the Demons had the cattle ? and that the execution was flawed or was it a mental issue.
Looking at the game there seemed to be periods that Waybacks would contain and gain some initiative, then the peckers
would tear the game open, were your couple of out significant?

My only thought, was that Sara is a marking forward... not a key backman...

Apart from that, Mallee was just better... :?

KWF - it's not up to me to make those calls. Everyone that watched the game will have their own opinions - however, I will say this..... just wait three weeks before you judge any teams finals performances.
