no sorry 2 disappoint you mate. You can still see china smashing the leather around 4 the wombats tho!

serious does anybody know when we start? heard from a good sauce Lions are in $$$$ trouble. Nothing 2 serious, but hoping that attendance fees dont go up 2 much and scare more crowd away.

Sollies training Mon & Wed from now @ 530. Lions can't be in to much trouble if they can pay Monfries $1300 a game.

Any update on Schmidt? I was told by a prominent South Augusta stalwart that he wouldn't leave South- "If he wanted money he wouldn't have come to us in the first place".

Wonder what Bobby would have said about your "star" centre half forward Matty Stringer if he coached against Sollies a total of 20 games for a misley return of 6 goals and only twice in the best players (2nd & 5th) great recruit.. Oh he has got a good rats tail which was cool in the 90's[/quote] from Blood and tars on Whyalla page.

Alright, where do I start? Blood and tars if you play or played football do you know teams (not yours ) have things called GAME PLANS? -Anybody out there knows that we had a Pagen's paddock up forward. I won't confuse you with detail! How often did you see Matt inside the 50m? Matt was good for us especially since he wasn't recruited to play Centre Half Forward. Disciplined player who didn't have to kick goals to do his bit for the team. TEAM? Will leave that for next time.
Looking forward to more of your statistics and beauty tips!

Facts = All players have strengths and weaknesses. No 1 player can win a premiership so as you say it obviously takes a TEAM to do so

Stats = (Only Stat that matters) 3 Premierships to Nick Callary, 0 to Matt Stringer

Team = (3 Premierships to Bloods = 3 good teams) (0 Premierships to Sollies = TBA Teams).

Beauty tips = Matt Stringer to Ashley and Martin hair salons for a Shane Warne style hair treatment. Maybe use some of the Dye Bobby Boston uses in his Hair to hide the Greys

To me Nick Callary has earned his respect from his team mates and the SGL with 3 premierships, Matt Stringer is still trying to earn his from Sollies and the SGL. Its better to state how you feel rather than bring bobby into it.

Blood and Tar is Aussie made actually you as another superhero or your bitch?? For both you to realise, I said he was a good pick up for Centrals and I think he will be good in your team. I am not going to look up his past season because if he is an onballer he would have been best player more times than Matt Stringer I know. You ladies have brought Matt Stringer into it ,I made no comparison. Three premierships is a great effort by Centrals but it doesnt make him a better player than somebody else who hasnt been that lucky!!! So Kim Arbon was sh!t by your standards and Matthew Cox is a star (who?) 6 premierships but not as good as Callary OR Stringer! Or you two hey. I will try not to quote anyone anymore if ot upsets you if you try to grow some decent stones.!

Good diversion from that other queerness on here Cheetah. Quite humourous!
Going from what I was able to Google I think their AFL and SANFL history wouldn't be relevant in the Points System. I think Hargraves played in the SAAFL last year so he would be 3 pts. Barnaby French could be anywhere from 0 points to 3 points couldn't he? -Where and when did he last play?
In short it appears to be 5 points for an AFL player going to a club the following year, 4 pts for a SANFL, 3 or 2 points for Amateurs or Country Leagues depending on level/standard. For every year you don't play A grade or at all a point is deducted as it is for a recruit for every year they stay at that club. It is almost a 1 point deduction from the team total for every player under 18 (provided they weren't recruited in I suppose).

For the record both Kim Arbon (300 game player) and Matt Cox (Multiple Premiership Player) have my respect, both for different reasons.

Happy for you to quote anything you choose but don't expect not to get pulled up if others don't agree

It would be a step in the right direction for SGL football if this is the case. Ports would be very happy and hopefully Sollies get the same opportunities at their chosen home ground (Globe Oval)? It would be great if a true home game scenario could be achieved for all clubs even if it is only for 1 or 2 games for the year. I understand several games in season 2013 are to be played at ETSA oval where Centrals Club rooms are with the remainder of the games for Port Augusta teams to be played at Chinnery Park close to West Club rooms. This will at least provide the league officials plenty of opportunities to review the one ground in each town policy.

Does anyone have access to the 2013 program?

Programme is online on sportspulse.
I agree with these comments Aussie. Has always been a popular option when talked about. I do wonder now the big development is happening (inclusive of netball I believe) will it spell the end of the home ground hopes?

French played for pembroke last year. Played a part in keeping the club in div 3. So he would be 3 points.
