That's how I interpretted Woofa's post as well - it's the ring in comment that gets me.

A ring in is not a kid that is at the club 3 nights a week AFTER training with WWE and who always makes himself available at every opportunity for any grade. A ring in is not a kid that has played with TW for the past 11 years. A ring in is someone like "Gavin Wangeneen" who swans in for 1 week and is never seen again.

Jarred Allmond has played for TW this season already - he will qualify for finals if TW is in and if WWE are not.

I've actually made some inquiries & your right Ace, my earlier comments about the TW forward line may still stand to an extent. However its always good to get the service of your young stars back from SANFL duties. Interesting side note to all that. Apparently the reason no scores for that game were in the paper was cos young Jared Allmond wasn't cleared by the eagles to play for the Roosters. Sources say he actually came up with an injury to get out of playing for the Eagles so he could have a big night on friday at the school prom. Obviously a big talent this kid judging by his ability to snare 8 goals in our league whilst playing with a massive hangover.

I have to admit that Silvy could play a bit. Perhaps Swamps reffering to the fact that he was possibly the biggest tool to ever put on a Rooster jumper!

Your sources are nowhere near the facts Woofa - you should re-check them.

The reasons there were no scores in the paper is because the ACTING team manager missed sending to the Producer - just like he did the week before. Nothing to do with WWE.

Half Way thru the season the ladder is;

1. Mallala 14
2. HW Eagles 12
3. Two Wells 10
4. Balaklava 8

5. United 8
6. Virginia 4
7. Hamley 2

Who will Final 4?

IMO only Pies and Eagles are certainties for finals and Rams & Bombers certain to miss out.

Who does everyone think will get last 2 spots?

I am a bit biased and think Tigers and Peckers with the Roosters to miss out.

Two wells to push on and take 2nd,Eagles to finish third balak 4th. mallala to beat two wells in prelim, eagles to beat balak in knock out . Then eagles to beat two wells to play mallala in gf. Mallala to win that by 4 points.
Back to the creek it is.

It is getting interesting thats for sure. The recent upsurge from the Peckers and downsurge from the Eagles and the Tigers suggests to me that even the Eagles are under the pump to maintain a spot in the 4.

IMHO only the Pies are in for sure - Hamley and Virginia start planning for next year - Roosters, Peckers, Tigers and Eagles fighting for the other 3 spots.

Tiges & Eags suffering key injuries = ladder decline

i think u should look at the ladder woofa and u will notice 1030 which represnets the amout of points two wells has scored so how does that explain a forward line that needs to lift their efforts and its almsot 200 more points then any1 else, but i supose all that has come from the midfield

He's a handy player. Not from West Coast, he's with one of our dazzling young local netballers. Played very well last two weeks.

Note United were missing Davey, Graham, Broady and Pymy. One former AFL Rookie, two SANFL league players and a country football champion. Fair hole to fill with B graders, so i dont think we should read to much into the result on Saturday. Maggies were good for 3 quarters but last quarter was a concern. 7 goals to one against is not ideal. United will still be the team to beat in September make no mistake about it, though its good to see that we may have a fight for that fourth spot this year which is great to see.

Ahh ,the old drag in the boyfriend trick. We lucked in on young Grant Jaeske in the same type of manner but then he vanished! Bugger. The tigers have a few issues to sort out . This could be on the money, HWE seem all over the shop at present, They looked ok against my boys a few weeks back, but it was D.Barnes that was the standout for the Eags, all the usual suspects were ok, but not the usual dominant Eags that's for sure.

And the Tiges have been getting the job done, but have been less than convincing, My stats have them Ranked 7th in average winning margins, averaging only a 17 point deficit in their wins, and averaging only 92 points in their victories placing them in 6th in that column.

The Stats also suggest that they Average about 71 points on any given saturday, yet concede an average of 85 points.

stats are stats and equal f%$k all when the air conveyance goes upwards, but read into it if you like . :-k

No scores in papers, can you fill us in on the main goal scoreers?

You betcha, your post was printed of and enlarged and stuck on the whiteboard, and Fitzy used it as main motivation :^o

No, really Jumbo would probably have to agree, Groover led all day on saturday, but when your midfield run's to within twenty metres you'd be hard pressed to pass off, Groover's man was the only bloke who played close all day.

The forward pressure applied to the hapless Bomber backmen caused turnovers and a few lucky Roosters half forwards made the most of it.

but at the end of the day we need to beat the big three, not just beat up the lowly teams. Have to turn the cross hairs on the real premiership favourites the maggies!!
