True also Brock - you are quite the intelligent sea cow aren't you!?! I think the week off will be of benifit to your boys, gives the likes of Sporn another weeks rest. Is there a chance Murphy could return? Must say Rian Crane has stepped up in the last few weeks, probably carrying the best form of any player in the league coming into the finals...

Murphy would be a good chance going by his form on the track last night. Chicken has been brilliant in the second half of the year.

On a side note, I can't believe no one from Murrayville managed to snaffle more than 9 votes in the Mail medal.

And congratulations must go to Tom "Man Child" and Dallas "Huggy Bear" Willersdorf, for their runner up finish in the reserves medal.

Who got the 9 votes for Murrayville Brock? Was it a case of the votes being shared around this year you think?

I didn't go to the count Ant Man. I was just going by the fact that the leaderboard was listed down to a guy from Peake who got 10 votes. So obviously Murrayville's highest vote getter was less than 10.

Sayers is a gun, he got 12 votes in the medal, I thought he would've got higher as he was clearly Peake's best player the 3 times we played them.

I had a look back and it is Brendan Pett from Peake who got 10 votes in the Mail Medal. Can you enlighten me as to what number Brendan wears Carey??

Good game on Saturday.
Enjoyed the contest.
Lameroo did the business, while BDT just couldn't get any traction.
Good umpiring too - sensible without trying to overshadow the game.
Well done to Lameroo.
Just wish I coulda got an up to date budget so I could be sure who was who.

Also - John Whistler, who wrote the story on Maynard for the Sunday Mail, what game was he watching? He had Rocket playing in defence...
