I'm not sure i like the proposal either MB but keeping footy alive in these regions for the generations to come is most important. Can anyone tell me if the Mallee selects a 'Team of the Year'?

COMMENT FROM THE COACH: Ashley has shouldered the midfield responsibilities for several seasons. Some selective recruiting is going to take a lot of pressure off of him. After a disappointing 2007 by his standards I am confident the club will see Ashley back to his hard running best in 2008. He has also taken his responsibility of captaining the club very seriously. He is well respected by his peers and has the potential to become an excellent captain for this club.

You should go for a look if you get a chance DW, it will be the mallee's, 'MATCH OF THE ROUND'! BDT would go in favourites but they never seem to play the Murrayville oval well... It will be a great game but i think Lameroo will win in a tight one.

Ha ha FA

I'd like to get down there for a game - but the schedule's a tough fit.
Might try and get there for the granny, if I can convince someone else to come for a drive with me.

That's because they usually play the Dogs there Ant Man 8)

I think that BDT will get up in a close one.

True Brock - What have the Murrayville boys got planned for the weekend off, getting together to watch this game? Both sides have been beaten by the dogs this year so none would want to have to meet them in the Prelim! Lets hope its a tough, physical game and there are plenty of sore bodies for the dogs to knock around the following week! :D

Good work DW - drag a car load down and make a day of it!

Nothing official Ant Man. We are under instructions to go and watch the game if possible and take note of the tactics used by both teams, because if we want to win the flag we have to beat both of them.
