The Roo & free entry to next years rooster ball @ raven oops i mean the Lincoln.

The rooster ball will be booked out next year as it was this year Dermie so no can do there. And I am sure we will make at least another $12k from the event as we did this year.

what were the takings like at Royal Ravendale across the day as an interested rate payer?

Acock,
whilst I agree the banter at the bar was for the most part fun and light hearted, rusty's comments to RH still obviously injured and unconcious was nothing short of disgraceful. Also his attacks on stewy were pretty childish, the umpiring performance certainly was not the reason tasmans lost.

My football knowledge would be that Tasmans lost for the same one reason as Boston, and the same one reason as Marble Range.

Their opponents scored more... :D

My basic maths lesson is that if all tickets are sold, entry alone nets $9000...

Tiger08 stated on this site that BFC sold the rights for $1000...

Heard $50 today, with 30 tickets per club to sell...

T07 even if it was at BFC I doubt you would be going for free

think BFC will be hard pressed to sell 30 tickets

I think most clubs will struggle to sell tickets @ $50 a head.
Its on a Monday Night and the only way it will ever work is for it to
become an upmarket event and get the girls to frock up and come
along.
I dont mind the idea of a nice venue and the clubs picking up a grand
for no work but it might suffer from small attendance this year.

agree with ya on the Monday night KWF and upmarketing the event, however the problem with not selling the tickets is the club is out of pocket for those tickets unsold.

so if the BFC only sell $500 worth of tickets (10). then they have to make up the $1000 difference. The $1000 that they sold the event for?

So $9,000 gross for the night. Say dinner is included and to feed everyone costs $3,000 plus the $1,000 to buy the event. total expenses $4,000. The Lincoln make a cool $5,000 plus drinks over the bar.

Clubs should look at the big picture before selling the event.

There is no guest speaker

Does PL footy really need the Tigers, after last years efforts I'd say no. It's a bye anyway, might as well just call the day off and go fishing!![/quote]

providing my pie with sauce is right then yes you are correct, whether attendance is good or not the Lincoln pocket the $9000 and those who don't sell their tickets lose :( and before you brow beat me about it, wasn't my decision to sell rights.

The Keatley leak last year proved that someone out there knows the result

Dear Readers,

According to Tangles, the votes haven't been counted yet- so anyone claiming to know the winner as yet, is FOS.

Kindest Regards,

And half the posters on this site picked Keatley before the event... So the "leaker," which was just troll Coyote Ugly, was one of the correct half.
