I suppose the old saying is South never pay there players and develop there youth. Good motto that?

I posted some time ago how I thought Souths were a club that brings there kids through well and respected them for that. Seems like I might be wrong if they are doing this when they have a good team anyway (and should be showing confidence with those they have .) They were unreal against us and hope they dont make the mistake of blowing away there good work and losing players to bring others in. Maybe they are trying to get B graders because they were not that good this year. Who is their B grade coach?

Pretty much spot on. Our B Grade coach is Brad Elson and we went to Quorn to touch base with him and talk to the guys who we have heard are unhappy with BMW, who also have to pay their own way to training. At least we'll pay their fuel to train/play.
However, their is also a footballer that is moving to Quorn that we hope to find a job.

Oh OK, so you are only trying to get B graders and offering them money to come across from BMW.But I thought this was about you bringing your own through and not paying out money (especially to top up the B grade!)

Correct Killa, I'd be the 1st one out the door and I know one other player that would have left.

Well you have walked out that door before it seems going by one of your 15 odd posts today!!! ;) Now thats one motivated new coach!

We have 4 Footballers & a coach from Quorn.
It would be stupid of us not to see who wants to play for South.
We offered to pay their fuel to play/train and what we offer A Graders when they take the field.

1 Lad can't stand the coach, was hoping he got the Central job so he can play against him.
1 young lad played all year, only to be axed for the GF.
1 was very close to coming last year.
The other is a tall lad, that will help.

FACTS are always nice.
I left because my Dad coached Wolves and didn't really want to play against him, there is also another reason, but I have sinced moved on from that.

:D Its all good mate. Don't mind me - I like to take on the role of pot stirrer on this thing to keep interest. Don't worry too much about facts either as most on here is just hearsay and BS and Im sure some of your postings are also! Good luck with coaching job and dont let people get under your skin like I done. ;)

You have slayed BMW coach! Did he go for Centrals job and miss out to Hays?

So did you get them? Who are they and where do they playe?

I got to know Tryone Price well this year and dont think he will leave us and go to West mate.

No I don't believe Redden put in for the Central job.
Simon George is the lad unhappy
Mick Bury is the one the guys thought we were going to get last year, good mates with our current Quorn players.
2 young lads by the nickname of BJ & Turk.
If the come it's a bonus for the club.
We are unsure at this stage whether a few of our Adelaide juniors are coming back.

We have signed up 2 former Southies.
Kahran "KMac" McKenzie who played for Centrals last year.
Vincent Warren who played at Central Whyalla last year and u/18's for West.
Both signed clearances and now we just wait out the process.

There are only really 3 others on the radar, 1 likely and 2 that you may know about.
But I won't give too much away on that yet

So if you have got 6 or so players coming into your club how do you develop your juniors? That south so proudly say they are the best at doing?

Have you lost anyone Dog? Feltus?(Seemed to be a liability for Souths when we played them.)

Yeah Feltus has retired. He kicked 30 goals and only 12 or so behinds, but was only able to play up forward and as you said, we played a little differently when he was there.

Dwayne Crombie will play less A's this year, but his height is something we can't dismiss. As long he's fit when it matters.
Not sure if Jak Kerin is coming back from Adelaide.

How long do you think it will take K-Mac before he signs for another club?

Question I've had asked to me a few times already by people in our own club.
There were a few issues that weren't handled well enough or in time during last pre-season, which was the result of us losing a few players.
