I think that most teams are still looking in the same areas, Robby to Adelaide Plains, BSR & Sedan/Cambrai to Hils Country and Morgan/Cadell to either Riverland Independant or fold.

I don't think that there are any concrete plans for any teams as yet, maybe Robby, but something would have to be setup within the next month or so. The way the association is a the moment i can't see a comp next year.

I've heard the hills league are reluctant to accept Sedan due to recent swine flue concerns.

I think that all confirmed and unconfirmed cases should be cleared up by next season. It'll be a shame if they can't find a league to got to after all the effort they have put into getting new rooms put up.

Bit cheeky there timmies. Would BSR and Sedan be strong enough or able to spend enough to go with the Hills big spenders??? And with no netball following the footy, might be hard to run the clubs if people have to commit to two days/venues a week!

It is safe to say that Morgan/Cadell are struggling. Let's hope BSR doesn't roll them
by 60 goals this week. Could be on the cards.

Last time we played them they gave it a good crack for the whole game, hopefully the local lads can keep it going for the rest of the season.

But also saying that unless anything catastrophic happens to half our side i think it will be another one sided game.

agree totaly there spark. these guys really arnt as bad as the score card normally says and other that the last half of the first game they always make us earn it, doesnt seem any easier than playing a robby or pigs when you actually playing. with a few more players they could be fairly good

Not really a good game today against Morgan/Cadell, they turned up with only 9 or 10 and had to use some U/17's to get up to 12. It's bad enough trying to play 16 a side let alone only having 12 on the field.

We ended up giving them a hiding, 40.14 to 2.1, Jason Rosenzweig got 19.

I can't believe that i forgot to mention the sensational effort of Timmies Chin/Malibu, two great goals from the big man down back. If you keep that up Buckets and Scotty might have to watch out, i could see a three way swap happening.

I'm not sure who Malibu is Sparky :)

I'm just an anonymous spectator who gets to the odd game .... I did catch the last quarter yesterday and I must admit your half forward line did look very dynamic though :) :)
It could be the way to go for games down the track. (if only Meeks read these forums he would be able to take on board my completely unbiased advice) :)

Bit of debate on umpires on some of the other threads, wondering what the consensus is on the mid murray umps this season? Heard Robby not happy, but after their charmed run with the umps last year you could forgive them for feeling a little hard done by this year!

Yeah Robby arnt happy but most people know why that is. This came up on field in one of our games when a bit of s**t was being thrown around - the umpire on the day ran past and said that 3 out of 4 teams chassed them to come to our league after last years umpiress so that must say somthing. Think that sums it up very well.

As for this years umps i think they are dam good always fair i think and obviously they are going to get it wrong at times but anyone can see there is nothing more to it unlike last years cheats.
They get a thumbs up from me anyway.
