Wolverine...

Have heard a rumor that you may be pulling on the red and white next year.

Seems strange that you sledged us so badly considering you were once a coach of the junior Devs.

Got any rumors from Blackwwod to share? Signings, departures (ie you?), change of leagues?

what is all this crap about naming tough players. punching people or raising the elbow doesnt make you tough as many of you seem to be mentioning. anybody can be weak enough to hit somebody behind play or raise their elbow into somebody's head. what we should be talking about here as tough is those blokes who do the job every week, play out the game with no fears or regrets, don't get involved in any of the bullshit behind the play and go their hardest at the footy, not the man like many of you are suggesting. players who continue to give it their best regardless of the scoreboard or the number of wins they have had for the year and who stick around through the tough times. playing when it hurts, both physically and mentally, and doing their best to make it to the next contest for their teammates, themselves and their club. enough said

Well said OTO ... you have summed it up nicely, perhaps we should revise it to hard and courageous players ... your assessment would certainly cover my earlier post of Burch .. but also include the likes of Ledge King, Scott Sutherland, Nige Carman, Chris Shee ... incidentally have heard that Shane Collins was definitely appointed Onkas coach on Tuesday night.

DA - Wolfies cover is blown
GTS told me who you were and i thought i would stir you up!
REAL BLACKWOOD players leaving in droves.
A lot of Blackwood players leaving or considering leaving.
Players that have been there all their lives are just feed up with being at a club that has lost its spirit.
Players that are leaving or considering leaving , I thought i would never see depart windy hill.
The cheque book might cover up the problems this year - but unlike Lofty when the money runs out their will be no locals left to keep the club going.

I was defending Bridgey because although they are a bit ferral , we dont want to see another club dissapear like Milang did. Also it was easy to get a bite back from you.

Putting the focus back onto players being hard, def ledge king is the toughest player by a mile. He runs all day and doesn't stop, hits in hard every week.

Sure he has been there through some pretty good times, but he would never leave the tigers

Great player, great guy and a true advocate for hills footy.

Agreed wholeheartedly!! It's a pity he's had the problems he's had otherwise he would be a league footballer without a doubt.

I have heard a rumour that young Mike Mifsud is signing clearance forms from Shanty to Devil. This may cause some controversy.

Ron this info is straight from the horses mouth! He could be a handy acquisition for the Red and White! Top bloke. It would be a big loss for Bridgey to lose such a good club man. I beleive he is a close relative of one Paul 'Mona' Scamoni and has seen the light and wants to follow in his footsteps.
