Colby is Brodies bro I take it CD? Booga told me during one those impromptu meetings at the meat section in Woolies tha Sollies have used all their points....so looks like they will go in with what they've got. And good luck to them too, it's been a long wait since '95.

They are cousins. Colby has now set up his business in Port Augusta so he might even play up there, but I doubt it.
Booger loves his meat hey! I think this points system seems fair but makes it hard to get stronger by recruiting because you get less points given when you improve on your year before.

Wrong CellaDwella, they are def brothers, Colby has a A/C business which he runs out of Pirie, but gets plenty of work in Augusta, Brodie works on the home farm at Telowie.

Brothers, cousins - same thing isn't it out Port Germein way! No, my mistake.I thought Colby was the big viking looking Mudge's boy. On with the show then!

Brodie and Colby Mudge are definitely brothers. Cellar Dweller's "Viking" looking character is the legendary Busso. Last played footy for Laura Wirrabara in the B's a few years ago. Wore the number 69. He is still larger than life these days. Plays tennis and is the front man for the Pt Germein Hotel's Social club. He's 50 plus now so footy career is over, even if he has forgotten to grow up.

My news is he played a bit div 2 and 4, tall midfielder waiting on more info on div 5 thread. That's lockwood. Please help if any1 no how he will go in sgl?

Lockwood played under age at Port Adelaide, originally from Pt. Lincoln had a spell at West Croydon Div 7, Hamley Bridge APFL, signed at Port Districts Div 2 for 2012 played a handful of games then moved to North Haven Div 5. Average Height and Size and very quick. Played OK for Havens but was only there for 8 games so can't judge too much on that. Is a great bloke though who does very well with the ladies.
I have a problem. It's to do with the little man, the squashed-in French man, the naked little squashed up hairy boy! You know! With the hand feet

Don't think so. Gill recently moved to Hobart where he is breakfast announcer at Sea FM.

So Ken McGregor was meant to be Rays big recruit last year and Nick Gill's this years story! Mitchell Gill maybe? 4'6" vs 6'4" (but same weight likely!) Would be great if this rumour turned out to be true though.Plenty would come through the gates and might help Ray avoid the sack at the end of 2013. Have heard West have the cheque book ready to go but haven't heard any names mentioned. Any Ins or Outs to mention people?

Adam Zubrinich staying at BMW and if Westies don't act now they will lose Foulis back to BMW. That's the mail anyway.

I know Ray Hayes is after players, he tried to recruit someone I know who hasn't played for a while but works in Pt Augusta.

Is it right that South Augusta has snatched a Whyalla ruckman who wants some extra bullion for his services?

Hearing not all is "peachy" in the kennel and blood den in port Augusta with a few from south maybe leaving Schmidt being one of several looking else where at the least BMW throwing big money and captaincy with others looking within the sgl with a certain coach from another team offering a captaincy role and dosh to a disgruntled premiership player. And others looking Whyalla and northern areas for extra crust sounds like south could be worried? And at the bloods usual rumour of woolford back to southern flinders and taking big forward Mousey Morris with him and also griffin looking at southern flinders or BMW but they are making a huge play too get callary back from whyalla. All could be bolloks of course this is around te water cooler of port Augusta one of the biggest rumour mills in country south australia

I doubt very much that Callary will go back. He's been able to convince a few guys from Adelaide to come back to Central Whyalla to play with him next year.

You would assume this is West Augusta's coach Hayes but the player could be from Centrals OR South. Centrals really dont have a lot with captaincy potential and those that do probably wouldnt play for another Port Augusta team. Reid could leave but wouldnt be a captain type. There are a plenty of others who arent all that team oriented and would jump ship too but again probably not captaincy types.I will take a punt based on this and say the player backpocketplumber is suggesting is actually from South, simply because of the leaders they produce and think there may be one or two (maximum) who might be after a change.
I really dont think West would offer up their captaincy because I can think of a certain redhead and others who would spit it. (Would have to be a high calibre player like a Schmidt or a Woolford to warrant such a move and that wouldnt happen).
Time to spill the beans Backpocketplumber or at least give up more clues.

Apparently the disgruntled player at the bullies is red head Curley who has had a fall out with team mates and club . Hardly a high calibre player more of a battler? If half true I think he's either got some super leadership skills or he or west are seriously over rating him (thinks its the later)

Definitely not a high calibre player but battler is a harsh call. Very consistent, team oriented player. No frills type- a "back pocket plumber"!
Morris won't leave either. Said to be bringing in a mate from back home next year apparently.
It's Griffith not Griffen and he is likely to stay. Johnston is the main out.
There has been some talk about Simon Nowak returning to the SGL from Whyalla(?). Anyone else heard this?

Sorry battler was perhaps harsh on the man was jut trying to say he is hardly a player that should be money chasing?? Sorry about the miss spelling of Griffith don't hear much of him this season did he play much? And nowak there is a post on this page up abit earlier about south chasing a ruck man trying to get more crust could be him? He did play for centrals I think so could go back? And I'm sure he would be on wests "ray dar" being a mail medalist a few seasons ago..
