Sporn out of contract at the end of the year... maybe stirring the pott slightly but he hasn't ruled it out. Would love to get back to support such a great cause but unfortunately i will be working the weekend down in town. Should be a great match on Sat, you guys really look to be finding some form, and the doggies at home are never an easy beat! Murrayville in an upset - 4-5 goals :D

Pinnaroo v Peake

Karoonda v Lameroo

Murrayville v BDT

Some interesting games this week, any thoughts on how they'll pan out?

My thoughts are:

Pinnaroo just over Peake at home, Lameroo should give Karoonda a touch up as the Karoonda boys have lost interest and Murrayville will just edge out the Crows in the upset of the round.

Peake getting up over Pinnaroo makes for an interesting 3 way race between Murrayville, Peake and Pinnaroo for the last 2 finals berths.

Going by the scores Pinnaroo cost themselves the game with innaccurate kicking for goal.

Murrayville go a game clear of 4th and 5th i believe Brock and only one win away from taking second spot. surely the boys would be looking at aiming for the second chance now?

We are 2 games and percentage out of the top 2 after the weekend. We'd have to win every game and rely on other results to be a chance of finishing in the top 2. But we'll just concentrate on improving on Saturdays performance this week against Peake at Peake, who'll be chock full of confidence after knocking off Pinnaroo.

Peake certainly in the mix Goldberg. Tips this week guys:
Peake v Murrayville The dogs are in some really good form right now and would only be looking at building on their convincing win against BDT last week
Karoonda v BDT Too good for the magpies
Lameroo v Pinnaroo Match of the round, believe Lameroo by about 10 points - home ground advantage.

Murrayville will beat peake by bout 10 goals this wk. The dogs are starting to get back to the form of old if not better. Although peake beat pinnaroo on sat the score suggest that pin should've won, the lions got lucky. It will be a big ask for them to win big games back to back. Sayers will be held Quiet but may get 3-4 cheap goals cause its on peakes small oval. D. Feno will be BOG

Bdt will Belt Karoonda by about 15 goals and L Huxtable will be brought down to earth with a big thud. Thats all i've got to say about that. J. Richo BOG

And i agree ant man Lam v pin is going to be the match of the round. I think lam will win also due to home ground advantage. Pin can beat anyone on their day but they dont have enough players that perform consistantly. Lam will be to strong, philby will dominate and kick 8

Murrayville should win at Peake this week. They'll have to be careful not to drop their guard against the much improved Lions on the tiny Peake oval. Bash and Crash, here we come!!

BDT will have too much class for Karoonda, they'll be fired up after losing to Murrayville and should come out with all guns blazing keen to prove a point.

Lameroo haven't been dominating their opponents over the last few weeks and will have to improve against Pinnaroo who were let down by poor kicking last week. Pinnaroo just over the Hawks.

Is that correct, my understanding is that Leighton Huxtable is coaching Karoonda. He's as old as me, the silly pr*#k why would you do that to yourself if it's true.

Yes Leighton is coaching Karoonda, I think that old wobbly knees mentioned in jest that he was playing for them.

What was going on there W.N, how did he give away 2 50m penalties from the coaches box??
