What did you think of the way the umpires handled the situation and the PLFL official at the gate? I thought it was handled very professionally. Some comments from the crowd were not warranted though.

If Semmler is found guilty, I will tip him to be the leading vote getter in the MM... ;)

yeelanna have advanced to the prelim after beating tumby by around 8 points i think in a top game of footy. the leg speed of yeelanna was too much for tumby and having multiple targets up forward helped them too.
very interesting in lincoln boys. am i correct it is way v mallee this week?

Muzza kicked 5, Phil Dudley kicked 10, so will it come down to which forward has more dominance?

I saw the Semmler collision from my car at the southern end. The demon lad had his head over the ball and the result was a stretcher. I think that says it all. Reckless, High, severe contact. It would be 4-6 week suspension in the AFL. I hope the lad is OK, who was it?
Why was Semmler escorted from the ground by umpire T George and then what was Malcolm Harris doing? removing him from the ground? Was there a paddy wagon at the gate?
Presuming Semmler at least gets a couple of weeks how does that effect his coaching duties?

i beleive that Malcom Harris was asked to escort Carl to the change rooms by the Umpires. If Carl is found guilty or pleads guilty he will be able to coach from the change rooms and from behind the fence

How often would a reported (assume red carded) player get escorted from the field...?

I dont have a problem with Jars getting 6 weeks, he got reported for 2 different offences, his club brought in some new rules a couple weeks ago, as it states when you get reported twice in 1 season the penalty will be higher.

that makes no sense at all, either you can coach or you can't :? ....to say you can stand behind the fence about six feet from coach's box and coach you might as well just allow him to be on the oval in that case, whats the diff?

no one club can't change the rules, but yes we were in for change....guess we will see if new rules are adhered to this week ;)
