Yes he is still around the place and still takes an interest and I agree he used to do a very good job.

He was a class act I reckon, certainly streets ahead of Bob Everett from that era

Who is this "big name" player Ports are rumoured to have sucked in?

Tom Payne yes I'm lead to believe. But Jess Rivers not sure as his misses had another bady, so he would most likely need the okay from the boss.

Dead on here in the player movement section?? All clubs retained all players? Lost none and gained none?? Unlike the sgl at this time of the year? All coaches been appointed?? Trainings started again?

Booga Bickley reckons Brodie Mudge is a signing waiting to happen at the Cattery. Who is Barnaby French?

Just a question is it seemed "less" frowned upon in port pirie to change clubs then port augusta just seem too hear a lot more players move from club to club in port pirie then port augusta? Or is it the same in both towns?
And your surely your not serious asking who old barnaby french is?

Well the only one I know was an Australian under 23 rower who played footy at Sturt, Port Power and ended up at Carlton before retiring in about 2006/7? Are you seriously forecasting PP Lions are trying to pick Him up? Surely another B French from Coromadel Valley or somewhere?

Well googled Sky Pilot!
I keep hearing Ports have an ex AFL recruit but maybe it is Lions?

Interesting comment Back Pocket Plumber. I looked at last years clearances and there are about double the numbers changing clubs up there in Port Augusta than here in Pirie. Didnt think your comment would be right. Centrals have danger signs to beware of there revolving door! We do get a few going into Northern Areas league as well but same with Port Augusta I think.

I dont think Brodie Mudge will play for us but Colby is here so? Another big player like him would help us immensely though. Dont know about Lockwood. He any good? Any update on these Port recruits Squids? Or Barnaby to Lions? (PS Sky Pilot he is 37 today!)

Colby is Brodies bro I take it CD? Booga told me during one those impromptu meetings at the meat section in Woolies tha Sollies have used all their points....so looks like they will go in with what they've got. And good luck to them too, it's been a long wait since '95.

They are cousins. Colby has now set up his business in Port Augusta so he might even play up there, but I doubt it.
Booger loves his meat hey! I think this points system seems fair but makes it hard to get stronger by recruiting because you get less points given when you improve on your year before.

Wrong CellaDwella, they are def brothers, Colby has a A/C business which he runs out of Pirie, but gets plenty of work in Augusta, Brodie works on the home farm at Telowie.

Almost neighbours of premiership winger Robbie Dennis I suppose? Both on the west side of the Flinders Ranges and within sight of Port Germein
