very cocky for a supporter of a team that was thoroughly outclassed on the day that mattered..and before you slag off an opponent how about you look a little closer to home. Couple of heroes masquerading as Sollie B Graders wanted to fight a few of Souths B Grade footballers quarter time of the B Grade final, some quality units floating around that way no doubt. The fans of that particular club were w/o a doubt the most feral I have seen in the SGL; not a patch on some amatuer sides but still the Cats should think about breeding a decent culture as well as their undoubtedly talented youngsters[/quote]

Your boys would have run away from that fight. You guys only hit people from behind and people that dont fight back. Ok 2 go throwing punches against hollywood lions. Serious are club breeds ferals. Are supporters are loyal, maybe rough around the edges, but they stick by the mighty cat empire. I now your bud will get on and have his say. But ask any Port Augusta club and yours is the most hated. Because of the poor and incompetent way your club is run. You should not be proud of hand outs from the government. It is disgusting how your supporters carry on at games. Families dont go up 2 Port Augusta because of this

First off learn how to spell....are is not our.

secondly your're saying you condone your supporters running onto the field and having a go at opposition players in which your club has no involvement in the game? and laugh at the fact that the players avoided getting involved? but also mention (not the first time) about 1 guy hitting someone who isnt looking and saying how bad it is. I dont think you can have it both ways mate. you cant be impressed that your clubs supporters are trying to 'Fight' players during a game and then bag out another club for 1 player doing what he did.

i can tell you that no person from the SAFC is proud, impressed or condones what happened during that b'grade game. The complete opposite in fact. The fact that everyone still talks about that incident and the umpire hit at 3qtr time puts a dampner on what a quality Agrade game it was and the fact that SAFC won a league premiership in its 100th year. Thats what people should be talking about. Still it doesnt change the fact that it happened and the footy club has contacted all involved being the Lions football club, the boy and his family and apologised for the incident and has had to take matters into its own hands due to the incompetence of the SGL in suspending the guy. Why should the club have to suspend the guy when its the SGL who should be serving the bans?

Im not sure what your're getting at buy bringing up Government handouts.

as for supporters i would say the SAFC supporters are as passionate as anyones. and regardless if the footy club is winning or losing they are there rain, hail or shine. Unlike other clubs who seem to only get theirs out when they are going well and look like playing finals. Ill admit they are a rough crew and probably overstep the mark on more then a few occasions but thats what Football does to people. its a passionate game and without it your club will not be successful.
Your supporters are no different mate, i would say out of them all our two clubs would be quite similar in that fact. I

Why did you have 2 edit your response solo checking for spelling mistakes? As you can see by when i post i work long varied hours. Something your club members dont know much about! If your club had dealt with the violence in the b grade, it would not have snowballed. Yes the blame is on the south augusta football club. Watching cowards hitting people from behind and hunting in packs, got the crowd stirred up. Your coach should of dragged offenders, not cheer them on. Just because incident was put on state media is only reason your club acted. Dont blame SGL for not suspending him more and try and past the buck. If a player did that at sollies, he would be marched 2 a boxing ring and players would deal out there own punishment.(old school).

Are you serious man? Have you played in the sgl or are you just a supporter? If you played when was the last time? Because I've played in the sgl since the early 00's and for a long time sollies were the punishers and Souths were whipping boys when it came to fighting. They had to bring in Amos and bring back Hoffman and the Feltus to protect their kids .
