Souths absolutely staggering to the finals and they face a much improved MR out at the Gary. After the Magpies brave effort against the Roosters on Saturday my money will be on MR.

The clash of W v T now presents the Dees with their most important game of the year. If the Maggies do the right thing and the Dees can get up all of a sudden they finish 2nd with a Kings of Ravendale 2nd semi. I'm sure the Tacos would rather face the flailing Eagles in the 2nd semi so what a game this one will be. Nothing will be left out there after this one.

MP v B also very interesting for all the wrong reasons, get the medicos on standby.....

WCP are reading the result of saturday are tassies no roo - no roosters, only just beating the second to bottom side?? :?

Had an interesting result due to our league being unable to make the right decision (again).U/17s Marble Range forced to forfeit because of a stupid rule.I was told the rule goes somethink like this.If a U/15 plays U/15s then goes up and fills in for the U/17s only the U/17s game counts.A player must play the last 3 games in his grade to qualify.With Rangers U/15s playing finals and their U17/s not they did the correct thing and kept their U15 players back,leaving their U/17s with 8 players.Any chance of Tasmans catching Lincoln South for 2 spot on percentage is now gone(i dont think they would of made it anyway).Mail medal votes could be interesting if a Tasman or Ranger lad miss out by a vote.My source from Tasmans has tried to sort this out with the league and cant get a straight answer.I know the league officals are volunteer and do a very difficult job but i think sometimes common sense has to come first. Best On Hill just keep ignoring Anothercock because he has nothing to do with Tasmans,he is a troll.

I thought we established that Acock was Steakn? I'm confused now!

On that rule Sonya, which my inferior replacement was spruiking a couple of weeks ago, it is incorrect.

Have your junior committee draw their attention to the junior constitution where it speaks about major round qualifications.

The rule he is thinking about is seniors only (playing League and Reserves on the same day).

If the kids play enough games to qualify for a particular junior grade, then they are in. they can play EVERY week in under 13, under 15, and under 17, and play finals in all three grades (not likely to happen, but just to explain the rule).

How come I can get a straight answer from you Media Park but not from the league.Might be a bit more helpful if you were still there.

I wish there were more people than just you asking that question Sonya, that was there could be a bit more accountability there.

why do you find it interesting marble park?
[quote="westcoastpanther"
Does PL footy really need the Tigers, after last years efforts I'd say no. It's a bye anyway, might as well just call the day off and go fishing!![/quote]

I retract all statements I have made re: the identity of Acockfromwayback.

Steakn is one of the few on this thread with the cajones to reveal himself, and on reflection I do not believe he is the sort of bloke to troll around with a second ID.

I didn't realise until reading the paper today that Mallee's could also finish second if Rangers knock over Souths, the plot thickens!!
