I want to Congratulate Matthew Doecke on playing his 300th on the weekend. Takes a good clubman to stick around and play quality A grade football. Being a one club player is something he will be able to look back on and cherish im sure. Not sure he will play 400 but congrates on the 300.

Blue Sky, Doecke is a great clubman and one of the most respected players in the BL&G. Take your ridiculous comment and piss off.

As a new poster and someone once heavily involved with Willaston I can tell you the problems are certainly there and have been for a number of years. Many older veterans around the club would be ashamed of some of the sniping that has gone on there. However from what i had heard things had changed this year until from the sounds of it last weekend. This needs to be stopped and the people in control need to nip it in the bud quick by doing whatever it takes!!! to bring in my opinion the greatest club on the planet back to its once glorious winning ways. This also needs to be stopped in order to bring back that fantastic family and mateship atmosphere this club once had that every other club in Australia would be jealous of.

Thanks for the positive comments "Dizzee Rascal" - what kind of a name is that anyway!!
IMO Doecke is as soft as butter and only has played 300 as ANGO has been weak for most of his time there.
New topic - what is happening at Kapunda. Those sheep farmers sacked Prouse last year and then picked up a soft coach this year. Look forward to another 30 years without a flag I reckon.

bahahahah what are you on. as much as i dont like kapunda i respect there club and players. they are in a rebuilding phase and it wont take them long to get out of it. milligan is perfect for developing juniors with his expirience with a 17s sanfl team

Footy Boots - they might be a good club but rebuilding! Give me a break. They are in a world of trouble with their junior sides copping a belting every week. Spent too much on premierships a few years ago and now paying a higher price. Clean the show out and start again I say.

there juniors have 4-5-6 good players that have already played As and they have alot of young talent in the Bs that milligan is working on.

how do u expect they clean the show out. just tell there players not to rock up and all new ones to come in. its country footy you play with what you have and what they have is a strugling team that will come good soon enuf.

Nottle would be Willastons equivelant of our boy Brad Taylor. They both have have provided first class service to there respective clubs and both very similar in looks. A couple of "Rangas" with heads like a plane crash.

Nottle has been a thorn in our side on many occasion but one thing he does lack is penetration and hasnt reached the depths of some of his comrades.

Was one of Willastons very few that broke even last Saturday at Wolfcreek Oval.

Says a bloke with a name similar to what my sister would have on her myspace!

I'm in complete agreeance with FB here. The Bombers have a group of 6-7 players aged under 19 that have the potential to play 200 A Grade games however Milligan is sticking to old brigade a little too much.

There is a difference between being a good loser and a bad one. No one likes losing but i think some players have to realise that your playing a team game and your TEAM MATES are your best mates. There the only ones that can be with you and there for you in the heat of the battle.

spot on MPM.. i have heard some stories from players that there was a bit of niggle between team mates..

still playing key positions at 33 is a fair effort for a bloke that has been to the top of the mountain a few times.

Daysofourlives.

I was wondering if Saturdays on field "back-chat / abuse" was nipped in the bud by the great Seelander at training last night?

All clubs at all levels suffer from on field abuse , i doubt Zoolander would be too concerend about it nor the players

Its a fine line and some players cant help but to express there emotions but its all in the heat of battle.

Yeah I understand this happens in the heat of battle. Just wondering if Zoolander might try to nip it in the bud before it gets out of hand or escalates to beyond the heat of battle.

Going really well, he has been in the best players on regular occasions and is also fitting into the club socially really well. Seems like a really good lad which has been a great pick up for us especially with Agars leaving.
