Mallala
two wells

hummcoks

my prediction

Mallala/Two Wells by the length of the straight.

Other predictions:

Big Dog is killing it as per usual, on and off the park. Though, he didn't play last year for Mallala, he was arguably BOG for the few days after the GF. Legend.

solly
pym
monty rounding it out IMO

obviously have no idea about the APFL. The best players who have been in this league are the one's who have grown up in it. I could name a few who are still around before you mention those imports, who might i add haven't even suited up for an APFL game yet. Lee Allmond, Jason Earl, matt Young, Heath Pym already mentioned.

I'm interested how you have come up with your top 5 considering you as quoted 'have no idea of the APFL' and most likely no idea of the quality of players running around in this league? Obviously you're very Salisbury North/United biased with your selections but there is some quality players from each of the 7 sides.

I didn't name any Salisbury north players? What are you on about. Played in this league for many years up to 2011. Top players running around this league Allmond, Earl, Young, Pym, Seccafien, Whiskey Walker. Joel Mont has been the best import to come into this league and stay. Like Swamp said there has been many that have come with hype and not delivered. It's up to them to show the people who have been running around the league for years how good they are. What's your top five?

Apologies Footy Warrior I misread the quotes and I got mixed up between you and footy is the winner.
I agree with you that the top 5 are guys that have performed in this league and not at AFL,SANFL and other country and amateur comps.
Until they play a few games and prove themselves in this league they shouldn't be in anyone's top 5.
Current top 5.
Montgomerie
Seccafien
Feast
Cicollella
Niklaus
Could easily chuck in Pym, Allmond, Howell, Earl, Zanandrea, Robertson, Thach, King, Etteridge, Storic or guys that have left like Taylor, Faulkner, Lachy Michael or Whiskey and most probably wouldn't disagree too much.

The big unit from Balak gone, Coaching troubles at Hummocks already, Hamley picking up some so called guns lol, Mallala looking strong again and Two Wells........ No one really cares about Two Wells. Looks like we are in for a interesting year.

Hey BigVagina, maybe it's this attitude that gets you knocked out by them in the finals every year?

I guess we will have to wait and see. I stand by my top 5. I'm not gonna sit here and reel off 10-15 players that could be in there, that's the easy option. And my top 5 isn't what I think will be the association medal count at the end of the year. Just the best 5 players in the comp.

Interetsing to see why you think these two clubs will bounce back, Balak if they have added then fair enough, but united were coming froma fair way back werent they to challenge...

Two Wells for me right now, minimal losses, added to the group
Mallala, best midfield still, but the loss of 2 key forwards maybe 3 hurts, depth is their strength though!

Was thinking of this new coach at Balaklava and hear his game plans are quite good, havent seen much or heard of Dawson anywhere so is he back, united seem to have recruited players not names, GF may be a big ask, yes up forward may hurt Mallala a bit but with Harris back and a good forward from colts, wilson, who should play most games can cause damage up there, say bring it on 2014

Two wells
virginia
mallala
united
hamley
balak
hummocks

two wells dont look like they have lost much from last year hard to beat. Rams will be very fit but think they have spent a bit to much cash on the wrong players (lacking backline) mallala will be good again but lost key forwards which will hurt. United to improve alot, if they can get the ball forward enough could do alot of damage (solly to kick 100). Hamley to round out the 5, with stribling and dowdell coming into the midfield both ooze quality. Balak and hummoks to round things out havent heard to much on these two, could suprise tho.

Given the players they have recruited over the summer, I think Hamley would feel they would have badly under-achieved if they were not in the top 2-3 this season.

Similarly, with the quality of players United have recruited, they would be disappointed if they were not participating in finals.

My ladder prediction.
Mallala
Two Wells
Hamley
Virginia
United
Balaklava
HWE

Mail Medal: Heath Pym
Goal-kicking: B. Nicklaus and K. Ettridge 81 each.

Cheers again to the Mallala FC for having us back after the game too. Hopefully there's a huge crowd, plenty of black and white.

For any neutrals, there are no bar or food facilities so it's all BYO to Roseworthy.

Toby Stribling will win the leagues medal by a country mile. Big dowdell will be feeding the pill down his throat every single week, he will average 40 touches a week. Hamley would be roughies for the flag now. Should take some of the pressure of Thach aswell around the ground meaning he won't get tagged each week and should rack up more possies now and be dominant. Cheers.

Top all year then out in straight sets.

Will miss Taylor and Haseldine, is Zandrea still there? He cut Balak up last year from half back
