Didn't see the game but heard Imps destroyed Tailem, including a 14 to 2 goals first qtr

Apparently Imps were up by about 20 goals at 3/4 time, didn't hear the final margin.

Obviously Tailem a fair way off the leading sides, but with 2 wins so far this year, they are at least making some progress.

Imps on the other hand look to be the form club at the moment.

Final score was about Imps 33 goals to 7.

Anyone know any other results?

some fair scores on the weekend! not a real surprise really.
not a great weekend for supporters though, no game in the bridge and none of the games even remotely close
if last week was the 'rivalry round', then this one is the 'training drill round'...

Gees Ben Dougall 8 goals, this lad who is still eligible for under 17's, is a gun, and will be interesting to see if he tries out in town one day. Handy cricketer too, will be interesting if he has to make some type of choice, like so many sportsmen have in the past.

Yeah Sammy played but the old man got touched up by some young bloke in the first half and was forced to sit out the rest of the game!

so whats the goss for this weekend?

jervois travel to meningie to see the detremental effects their dairy farming is having on the coorong
tailem head up river to mypo in what will be the closest battle of the round
and the roos head down for a shellacking at johnston park
the chooks have the bye and seeing as though they play the roos next week, would more than likely help imperials raise some more money to pay players and watch the slaughter in town.

the mypo - tailem game is the only one worth tipping as the other two should be 100+ point victories again.

good call hills, you boys dont have to travel. it must be nearly knock off time or something.

i actually just heard that denty is an out for tailem this week also, so the tigers should easily account for the eagles.

hows the oval looking out at bludland hills? heard it was a bit dry and dusty early on in the season. has it greened up a little
