Thought so.
Any more player rumours coming thru seeing how all teams seem to have started preseason??
I heard today that Reggie Reid from South Whyalla will be playing for the Bays in 09.
Word is that Souths have lost a few back to Pt Augusta and a couple to rival clubs.

From reports i've heard there are a whole heap leaving Central Augusta so i would imagine they'll be trying to recruit heavily too!

So the rumour on Kane Allen to play for West could be gathering momentum.
Did hear that he was still contracted to Central Augusta tho.

I went for a drive tonight about 6.30 and saw 2 teams training.
First team was definetely Roo's which seemed to have around 15 down near the surf life saving club. The second team i think was Norths who had 20 odd down at the "new beach" near the pellet plant.
Good to see that the heat wave didnt discourage teams out training and also good to see both teams using a bit of common sense and utilise the beach.

Yeah ease up Scout it was 45 still when they were training and i would say that both clubs would have shift workers that are unable to make it as well.

Heard a story this afternoon that Nick Warren who has been mentioned on the pages recently was set up on Thursday evening to go out for a spot of fishing.
Little did he know that it was actually Russell Sawford and an Assistant coach that took him out to sea.
As i have stated before do not write Westies off when it comes to recruiting players as they seemed to be the slyest team in town !!!!!
