Heard this on the hill on the first day of last year's Ashes Test in Adelaide:

Bloke carrying four beers through the throng stumbles on a woman lying (clearly uninterested in the game) on the ground beside her boyfriend. He falls on top of her, kneeing her in the head and spilling some of his amber ale.

Someone yells out from the crowd "Australia says no to violence against women!"

The poor girl was Japanese, so I yelled out:

"Poor fella, he never did get over World War Two!".

Sounds like she had it coming, Fancy not being interested in the cricket, although, it's a good thing when women are at the cricket, what would you look at between overs!!
Sorry people I only deal in facts!

That was a great night. I managed to get there about four hours before the service, so was well lubed beforehand too! Very nice venue and one of the best wedding's I've been too. But anyway - enough of getting off topic.

Last year one bloke we played footy with went and played for a different cricket team he had recently recovered from a really bad crash that nearly killed him.
He was batting and was struggling a fair bit with the willow so CAREY has ripped into him saying ( come on guys bowl him a tree he can hit them pretty well. ) Very tasteless but we all found it pretty funny.

Was on the hill at Adelaide Oval for a one day Redbacks final, when a young lady walked past and walked past again.....and again. After all of us finally just laughing at her attempts to be noticed, some bloke screams out.." Hey love stop walking past, even Ivan Milat wouldn't pick you up!" Made my day, that one.

Saw a full forward mark almost 50 out on the boundary in front of a shattered full back, the back pocket said "dont worry mate, he couldnt hit the side of a barn with a truck"
Full forward slotted it!

Think Carey takes it a bit to far on the cricket pitch. As captain he was a disgrace. Same game he also metioned about the poor guys spleen being removed. Boxhead gave Fitzy some good sledging scoring so Fitzy smashed the glass jaw!

Mark "Jacko" Jackson would have had to have been the best of his era.

Can remember watching him play a trial game against Port Adelaide one day at Footbal Park (I think) many years ago. The crowd were giving him heaps from the start and pretty soon he had enough and turned around to one spectator and pointed to thim and said "Shut up or I'll f**K your mother".
