Who do you play for now Hills?? Raukkan had a good side last year apparently and was picked to win it. I havent played in a carnival for 3 years now due to footy trips and injuries.

thanks SS. Andamooka did beat CP but CP got the points for unregistered players. I just spoke to the team manager up there. CP got belted on the weekend by Olympic Dam

The carnival is a good experience for all indigenous players and they seem to love it.
My former teammates Guy Sultan and Ray McIntosh played for Raukkan i think. Or does a whyalla side compete?
I don't remember.
Both played for the All Stars last year.

Whyalla does have a team but they only play if the carnival is in adelaide or close to them. its amazing how the nunga carnival started with just an annual match between Narunnga (Point Pearce) and Kaurna (Adelaide) to what it is now

Yeah, it has some pretty cool origins.
What i like about it is the respect the players have for the occaision.
The players love to play it.
They play it with pride in their jumper and that's how representative footy should be.

Im still playing for raukkan and wouldnt play anywhere else.

being selected to play in a nunga carnival is a honour and ill be playing for years to come. (for Raukkan of course) There is a massive amount of pride when you throw on your colours....

yeah we got chopped of at the legs against kooniba but lets not get into that. we had a great team and this year will be even better with a few more inclusions. I think Guy played last year but there were alot of nick names being thrown around so im not to sure on full names.

i usually play for Kaurna but was going to play for Coober Pedy this year as thats where my grand father is from. Would love to have a game with Narrunga but prob wouldnt make it into there team
