Well i guess Wallaroo will continue to struggle then. Although with the players they lost from last year, it was always expected that things were gonna be tough for them this year.

Just interested to hear how Scott Teakle and Anton Geradis are going at Ardrossan, Teakle seems to be in the best every week, is he that much of a stand out??
How bout Geradis, making much of an impact??

Scott Teakle used to be captain out at Birdwood, played all his juniors there also. One of the most skilful players going around and one of the best guys going around also... moved to Ardrossan hence his change of clubs, in a era where overrated players are getting big big bucks this guy plays for nothing and dominates. sorely missed at birdwood.

I saw the wallaroo vs Moonta game 2 weeks back, Moonta won very easy and Moonta are not that good of a side, so wallaroo must be struggling big time. they only looked to have about 2 players that new how to play footy.

Boys can people tell me in their honest opinion what the hell is going on in Wallaroo? Why cant they field a decent team, ever? No offence to the players there but really they havent been competitive in years! Pitty as there was a stint where they were very very good and even snagged a few flags (late 90's I reckon). I know the club has/had big money (2004-2006) but clearly just havent recruited well.
Is it bad admin? Coaching? Dud recruits? Out of money?

What do you blokes think of former Ardrossan player Matt Oliver?
He kicked 100 in the Riverland Football League last year and dominated most opposition.

Hanno - there's been talks of this for weeks.

He hasn't set the world on fire - compared to last year - but why would he have even started the season if he wasn't keen to be there?

Yeah, have heard that for a while.
Wouldn't complain if he did it this week!!

Don't think it will happen though...

Very good player, Great Hands and a straight kick. Helped Balaklava to 2 flags and Ardrossan 1 as well.

July 7th 2007 Round 12
Wallaroo (9) v Bute (4)
Kadina (1) v Moonta (6)
S Eagles E (5) v Ardrossan (8)
CY Cougars (2) v CMS Crows (7)
Paskeville (3) Bye

Kadina the favourites for the flag at moment, but paskeville starting to gel as a team and making a charge to the top of the ladder. The top 3 teams on equal points, making it a very close ladder this year.

I see ex Mail Medallist Shane 'Guido' Slade returned his former dominant self last weekend for the Roosters, has he just returned from yet another injury or is it a case of just a quiet season to date?

Bute would be very happy to have this bloke back on the park (and keep him there), enhances the chance of Cock getting his hundred with Sladey lacing them out in front & wont hurt the teams chances of challenging the Bloods/Cougars/Pies come September either... :D
