Wouldn't hold my breath on Modra playing for Keith- Keith have been talking up that rumour since Ryan Smart strated playing with him at Encounter bay, rumours got bigger when Butler bought him to footy training one night. Doesn't take much to get Keith into a frenzy!

Apparently Ryan Smart has signed on at Keith thats why Modra will play a couple of games there

Yeah he played for the Waratahs a couple of years ago, was rated fairly highly up there as well from all reports. Has a pretty good job in Kingston now so happy to stay in one place I think.

I haven't heard much at all actually. I think Adam Wiese from Mt Burr is coaching (will play as well i presume) Penola this year, and also think?? Jamie Walker has gone back there.

Also, I think all the talk about Modra going to Keith was bs.

If someone sees Adam Wiese ask him if he got a permission slip to play at penola. He ended a long friendship last year because a mate went to play at another club and didn't tell him. Ended up in a rnd 2 blood bath at Tantanoola

Anyone with predictions for 2007- have heard Kingston, Lucindale, to be OK Keith to be around the mark again- Penola got a few of their older (but quality) blokes back and maybe Mundulla to struggle (dare I say it??)

Keith gave Nhill (Wimemra Football league) a bath on the weekend 10 goals. Nhill are perennial strugglers in the WFL and had a few kids playing but so did keith. Keith looked to have a very good system and fitness looked good too. Mind you, your fitness always looks good when you are winning the footy.

BTW no Modra
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

KNTFL v SFL. That will be a good match to watch a Happy Valley oval on june 9. Hopefully penola get a few in the rep side will be good to see a few of the meat heads that used to play at Mt Burr get shown how to play footy. Southern FL will smash KNTFL too fit, strong and tall.

The Association game at Happy Valley will be closer for a lot of players than regular saturday games.
Are all the Port boys still at Lucindale?

Well it seems the rumour mill is true...Modra cleared to play for Keith from Encounter Bay yesterday!!! Big disappointment to the Bays players as they seem to be travelling well so far this season and they were all hoping Mods would lace up the boots for one more year...

That is a massive get if he does show- he not only would bring some spark to the comp but what cut some of those teams up surely- wouldn't want to be the full back at Padthaway for instance!!
