The Patterson boys from Brown's Well are the biggest I've played against.
Not too interested in footy, but sure do love a wrestle!

Anthony Pierri for Barmera-Monash in the late 90's/early 2000's. The guy couldn't be moved and grabbed everything!

It was hard to even jump against Pierri, he used his body so well.

Mick Eagle was a well built footballer, one who's not talked about as much as other players from the Panther glory days.

Shane Comer (Old Noarlunga/Sth Adel), had to ruck against him about 6 years ago when we were short on talls, I'm 6ft and he got bored after killing me and benched himself so his 'backup' came on, almost as big (Laffin), happy days in the ruck

Was reading about the nephew of Eyvone Goolagong the tennis star, I then got to see him in action.
6ft and built like Chris Prime however has the biggest belly I've seen on a man but turns on 20cent piece with dead eye left foot.
He won the goal kicking so many times in his league they changed history by re-naming the medal after him - all while he was still playing mind you.
Being the gentle giant that he is he spent much of the second half of one of his most recent seasons dishing off handballs in the goal square to avoid winning his own medal AGAIN

Others might be anthony modra in his later years after packing some on?
Who's the guy that played up forward for centrals and wests before disappearing?? he was hard to move along with a unit by the name of brooks who also played at centrals.

It would be safe to say he hated training with a passion and loved getting blind on a friday night.

I forget his name but there was a huge unit playing up forward for Kowree Naracoorte in an association match against the Riverland last year. Les Pearson was meant to go to him but he looked as if he was going to sh#t himself and cry at the same time so he ran to the forward pocket instead.

Mark Snowball - I think is the guy you are talking about. Played for Lucindale in the KNTFL.

Timmsy when he played for Robe & Port Mac would have to be the biggest & best, as mentioned he was such a legend that he starred in the West End ad. Kybybolite also had big Lauren Franz in the early 2000 before he did something very naughty and parted company with them and then may have been playing on YP, he could also play.

Timmsy got hit by a car and the car came off second best.

Kicks an abolsute ton of goals, very hard to move off the ball, gets double and triple teamed a lot of the time and still manages to mark it because of his sheer size and strength and if he doesn't he is surprisingly good at crumbing his own ball too. Absolute man monster. Glad I played with him not against him.

And you were too young to stand Troy Olsen ;)
Or the Central Eyre team of the late 90's with about 8 home-grown blokes all 6'3 or more.

Yep that is true - he walked out of a pub in Penola on around Christmas time. The car was written off and he broke at least 1 leg.
Apparently when he was younger "Whale" as he was known played 3 games for Nangwarry on the one day - Under 17's, B Grade and A Grade. From memory he played on the wing in the A Grade.
Great bloke - used to work in the Robe Hotel when he played Footy there.
