On thing is for sure is that cricket is a lot better over here than the crap that the PLCA dish up.
Have a look at your pitch for starters.

Some Grade wickets are only marginally better......

Who do you think will win BP? I think Jones will wear Green down and win by decision.

Pt Lincoln have forfeited B Grade Henderson Shield vs Far West this Saturday. With what has happened in other leagues you would think they would have to seriously think about the current format of the Henderson Shield.

A Grade side:

1. Daniel Mitchell
2. Dylan Colman
3. Ben Smith
4. Michael Pomeroy
5. Jeremy Wagner
6. Simon Tyler
7. Tynan Keely
8. Liam Knight
9. Craig Dorward
10. Ray Whillas
11. Shane Stockham

Eags I just need to come up that batting order a little mate ;) Stocky must be a devestated man batting after me :D

Firstly I just want to say that it is dissapointing at the level of support shown by the players here, no one wants to go to Ceduna and eags is correct that Henderson Shield is now finished at least at b grade level.
I liked that photo on the back page of the paper today showing WF on the roller. The weight of WF alone on the roller should flatten out the pitch. Maybe Leonie could jump on there as well and help out. Secondly as much as I like Bluey can he stop going on about the ravendale pitch' and the best sporting venue in Australia' and the community complex' and the multi sports night' and the mums and dads under the stars'. Wake up Bluey none of this will happen... and go down there and tell the truth of what it is really like.. freeze your ass off and get eaten by mosquitos with no toilets.

See you all at the meeting on monday night and bring your boxing gloves

What an absolute pathetic and pi** weak excuse, you are all happy for everyone to travel down to Lincoln! I am not involved in cricket at all but this is a typical attitude that seems to exist.

Agree mate. Same thoughts with Great Flinders unable to get to Kimba.

I actually enjoyed heading to the Far West in Henderson Shield. Good bunch of lads.

On the Henderson Shield, who has won/lost what so far.

I see Daniel Lee racked up a massive total against Le Hunte the other week.

As far as I know, Kimba beat GF by forfeit
Tumby beat Far West
Eastern Eyre beat Le Hunte (I think)

Lee has been making plenty this year - 2 tons that I know of plus a few other scores.

Should be an interesting night. I just hope that each club is well represented (I know we will have 3 reps there) and that everyone backs up what they have been saying and actually puts their views forward on the night.

I think he made 140-odd against Le Hunte in a matter of 30 overs.

Wayne states that the "pitch is looking good" That just goes to show the intelligence of the man. It is a crumbly mess and anyone who says otherwise knows nothing about turf pitches.
