But think about it, charlton have won 2 colts premerships in the last 4 years and look in their current a grade the only one that is still at the club is young shambles.

i think what you to boys need to realise is that charlton have won more premierships than any other club in the PLCC. only one side can win the flag each year and we just happen to be going through a drought. we're not the first club to have a few quiet years.. the chargers will be a side to be reckoned with for many more years to come.

Charlton do look the goods this season, mostly due to top recruting from rainbow whillas. However its been a while since iv seen Charlton have a succesful finals campaign! Hull and Cottrell? Seen in the paper that they have been having a run in the b's, cottrell made a good solid score of 60'odd so he might get the call up this week. Im asuming cottrell is off to uni, and Hull moving to adelaide? Not quite sure if your source is right there RS...

yeah well the umour i have heard is that Hull has spat it with Bostons and is leaving next year. Port have got him a job and his playin for them. if not port districs
i wish him well he could go a fair way if the young lad puts his mind to it..

Thats if port are still around next season things aren't looking to rosy for the magpies    Couldn't happen to a nicer club ;) ;)

What are you blokes on about? All the juniors that have left us had genuine reasons. We are the most succesful club in the PLCA and will continue to be for many years to some. And YES me, yancic, ash, simmo and knighter will be around forever.

Genuine reason being their colts coach fleeced all their money, then the club made the decision to keep said coach at the club because he can play a bit. What would have been better, keeping half a dozen kids or one tool with social problems.

PLCA is so overrated, a side can come in from Wangary and Coulta a win a flag every second year for the last 15 years, and Whistle goes on about other leagues being bush cricket.....

What a load of crap onsong. I was there when the decision was made to keep the coach at the club, we made the decision for the betterment of the CCC. This person made a genuine mistake and he will never be given money handling responsabilitites again. We have a mutual agreement that he will only perform on Saturdays and have little else to do with the club. Everyone deserves a second chance.
onsong we are the most successful club in the PLCA do not forget that. SES have been in the competition 5 minutes and think they own the show....the chargers will be a side to be reckoned with for many more years to come.

How does that better you club, short term you keep a good player, long term you have an untrustworthy person at your club no one likes. Only the CCC would make such a call, anywhere else he would have been out on his arse....

And while SES may not own the show, they have certainly owned Charlton....

us charlton boys stick together. throught good times and bad. we gave knighter a second chance and he has repayed the clubs faith. he is still one of the best new ball bowlers in EP country cricket.

I don't know too much about the Knight topic, and I don't give a toss either, but it seems a little two-faced that someone who's (allegedly) done the wrong thing gets kept, when another CCC problem player of immense skill, and questionable social habits got the flick a couple of years ago...

Out of that particular winning team, i can't think of many lads who are left in town, let alone playing cricket. Only 1 of the 5 you mentioned is still living on the EP. Jack Shanley played that year and is now playing Agrade for them, so there ya go.

Dont even get me started> Knight is no Adam Ryan for starters and SES don't own anything except a cow paddock with green weeds on it. us charlton boys stick together and we always will that is why we are such a strong club and dominant on the field.

I said that before that they all had genuine reasons for leaving. Onsong is just stirring crap
