Willaston vs Gawler Central - 20pts.. due to take a big scalp
Barossa District vs Angaston - 25pts.. angaston will be hoping for rain
Kapunda vs South Gawler - 24pts.. start their slow climb back from the easy beats
Tanunda vs Freeling - 75pts.. the leggies would be dredding this game

Centrals
Barossa
South - will win this one....surely.
Tanunda

So long as they're having to use blokes like keith houston south will struggle.. I thought they had done the best recruiting in the league this year?

They are going be down the bottom for a few years with what they've got.

South did have a strong recruiting drive this year however injuires and a suspension have crippled the lions... A graders missing from this team include or have inlcuded so far this year:

Bayliss - (knee) season, Schell - 4 weeks, Daniel Smith - (shoudler) season, Makris - suspension, Bevis - overseas, Lee (wrist) season, Fowler (knee) season, foster (ribs) 4 weeks, Broad (knee) ???. South also recruited 2 players from CDFC in Foldesdy and Whiley however these boys decided to go back to CDFC. Vandenberg and Kennedy are currently running around on one leg as south cant replace them due to injuries.

i would say when u do ur recruiting from the adelaide plains your not going to go far tex, i would say if u put all those players in u would still be where u are now with the exception that u may have been able to beat kapunda this week. as was pointed out by people on here at start of season your outs far outweigh your ins.

Andrew had a interupted preseason and is currently serving his time in the magoo's getting match fitness.
Andrew is a part of our mosquito fleet and will have to wait his turn as the Gawler Central football club is blessed with a plethora of small forwards/ onballers.

Will need to get to the game for the two's game this week , sounds like there could be some fireworks from Willaston nut cases Matt Cotton and Gavin Laubsh.

Jarred Puro is working closely with Matty Hermann as a assistant for the Under 17's association team. Jarred being a former premiership player and reserves coach with Willaston will bring that experience to the table.

Texas even if you had those guys in your side, things wouldnt change much, its a ordinary list. All clubs suffer injuries so lets not hear the old injury excuse. Injuries dont have a impact on courage , leadership , heart , culture or a respected coach. There is none of that at South. Even the former players of the club during the 90's glory days will tell you that.

The first step to over coming a problem is admitting to having one.

Interested to find your opinions on Freeling's progress?
Notable improvements? The inclusion of Eichner would provide a good stepping stone for the younger players to build from, is well versed in football and has a good football brain. The knowledge he passes on will be invaluable for years to come, and it seems as though he is enjoying playing out there, and will be onboard for a while, possible coach in the future?

They'd be far worse without him and if he is the right character then he'd be worth his weight in gold for prousey and freeling right now.

tips

angaston- 21-30 will get up for doeckes 300th
tanunda- 150+
kapunda-21-30
willaston- 1-10 should be a cracker local derby, i believe both teams have a couple out, big max to kick winning goal after the siren.

by the way lace out my claim to fame is i was only one here to tip nuri last week :D :D

i agree that Eichner is worth his weight in gold. I also reckon that Mensforth ( before injury), Kemp, Willoughby and Baldock have been pretty good pick ups so far. The reality is if you lose Muster, Leal, the Lamonds, Newberry, Farley, Haseldine and Copley from a side that finished bottom from last year your starting from a long way back in the field and have to start again. Thats ok, we take our medicine and build a team around the names above. I'd much rather have a team with an average age around 21 than a bunch of over 30's half way out the door. What we really lack is that 24 to 28 age group, when players are at their prime. MCmillan was good last week, he just needs to be consistent. Its the next level that need to grit their teeth and enhance their reputations as consistent A grade players. Heinrich, Muster, Barry etc have all played enough footy at A grade level to make their mark and help out a Darren Leske. The people of Freeling dont expect miracles, but do expect competitiveness. If they get that they will be patient. they need to see improvement in the second half of the year, wins will be a bonus at this stage.

Congrats to Doecke.
Daysofourlives you continually slander players, people and teams on here and have nothing constructive to say other than how good Willaston are all of a sudden. Pathetic.
All you will ever be known as is a lap dog for the great coach Seelander.
If your going to come on here, how about some positives for BLG instead of negative sarcasm all the time?
