The TFC is a laughing stock with a deplorable culture and loser mentality. Only happy with mediocrity and the biggest bunch of whingers on and off the field - any of us who has played against them knows this. So how is Carl going to change this around??? Simply he cant. He will be shaking his head from as soon as he walks into the place. Especially given from where he came from - the comparison is chalk and cheese. Wonder what Carl will think when all the senior players are ready to finish training at 7.15 every night as usual
Look forward to the Rangers boys coming over for a beer at our club after they have played at Ravendale. ;)

There will be a complete clean out at ravendale I am told and that includes people at the top. It might really be 'rooster time'

I and everyone I can convince will not enter ravendale and we may even look at forfieting our game there next season if I have my way in protest about a letter not being sent. Our committee are fuming over this and further action will be taken, we may even go above the PLFL's head. Sometimes you just have to make a stand for what is right.
With the behaviour of the MPFC, the poaching of the TFC, the big money LSFC and WFC throw around and the lack of discipline from the PLFL in making clubs operate by the rules don't ever be suprised to see us in the GFFL in 2011. This would just about end the PLFL with us not in the competition. Bring it on!!

How did you get semmler in the first place???? Francis ??? ....
What I will say is that Rangers are as good as anyone at covering their tracks....nothing comes directly from the club.
I can even give you the name of the 'recruiting fund' if you want.

Blues I am with you on that. I do however think that us and MR have a good relationship ie staying back at each others clubs.

We all know that clubs pay money I dont think that is an issue. One thing that bothers me however is that Tasmans are always laying down the law about the rules yet they dont bother to follow them.

I can confrim no letter was written to MRFC as to even speak to Carl. Does this mean we should all now go and talk to players willy nilly without following the rules?

I have mates at MRFC and BTB and can also tell you that your cheque book (yes yours personally) has been used in the past.

Are you blokes for real??? If I'm correct in what ur saying, is that, 1 club has to ask permission or atleast let a players current club know that they are going to speak to them before they do so. Its 2010, not 1968.

If the above is correct, your league would be the only 1 of it's kind State wide. Poaching & $$$$ are a fact of country footy, without it some club would cease to exist. If it happens to you & you cry about it, then get rid of all your imports aswell, otherwise your just being hipacritical, because they had to come from someone elses home club

If the above is incorrect, please disreguard all of the above statement  ;)

The relationship has been pretty good over the past 4-5 years but has not been without its problems.
Every club (with the possible exception of MP) plays the same recruiting game. Some clubs have bigger budgets, but they all have the same agenda.
Also can tell you that the only time a personal cheque of mine was used directly for recruiting was to refund the MRFC for a signon fee paid to a player who eventually played for us. Kept a copy of it for posterity..... ;)
Just get a bit tired of certain supporters / players bleating on here how they don't pay players.....ask panther about the 'Catering Committee'

So lets get this straight you are admitting to using your personal cheques under the table to pay other clubs? What about Rossco's cheque-book did he keep copys?

The whole league is corrupt by the sounds

Have I got it correct

1, Tasmans sign Semmler without consent of MRFC
2, A WFC Club Official admits to using his own cheque book to settle a deal.
3, MRFC will never admit to paying players, but do.
4, PLFL to weak to do anything about it
5, MRFC to boycott ravendale games

Doesn't matter where it comes from, as long as it goes in the salary cap return
