Be interesting how many blokes Sammy gets on the track this week after the Bluds shock hiding to the Rams on sat.
It was one of those days for Jervois, where the opposition could do no wrong.
A blessing in diguise & a good reality check i'd say.
Looks like a hard week on the track this week with the bye approaching, I wouldn't want to be in there shoes, SAMMY"S DARK AS.
Could be 100 x 100s on the cards.

Have Mypo managed a win this season? They have all three Pedler boys playing, wil they match it with Jervois, Ramblers and Imps?

Does anyone sincerely believe this could be the first year without Jervois playing the last game in September?

Mypo beat Meningie by 20 goals in round 1. They've had a fairly tough draw given they've played the 2 MB teams within the first 3 rounds.

This year is a reasonable chance to be the first since 2003 where Jervois isn't playing in the GF. Ramblers appear to be a fair way above the other clubs, although Imps generally trouble them, so this week's game will be particularly interesting. Personally, I'd like to see a Ramblers/Imps G Final (given that the side i follow is unlikely to make it) because it hasn't happened since the mid 80's. I dont think too many neutral supporters would want to see another Jervois/Imps grand final. Ramblers being in the premiership decider would certainly add a new element. They have the players, but whether or not they can maintain the mental toughness is yet to be seen.

The clubs won the last 4 flags & when did they last beat Rams at that ground? I don't think in the last 3-4 years.

I agree NM no panic buttons yet but they need to regroup get behind MAHONY and the coaching staff .Some senior players need to get out of there comfort zone and play the real team football and show the rest of the comp that there not a spent force . GWW is making bold statments this early in the season long way to go yet

Actually i was making more of a statement that it would be good to see 2 different clubs in the g/f, i said there was a "reasonable" chance that this may happen, it was a direct reply to another poster. I dont think i wrote Jervois off, and i certainly wouldn't, but personally would like to see the 2 Bridge teams in the GF especially as it hasn't happened for 20 or so years.

But certainly won't write the Bloods off, although i'll be praying that they dont win 5 in a row

From what i hear that move is a goer, they're talking about it on the Hills Country thread. So presumably he'll line up for Mypo within next couple of weeks.

River Murray are in the South East zone as of this year so whether or not he gets the job for South East he has the SA Country job for late July!

Presumably trying to make the Southern zone a little weaker given the success they've had over last few years. I would have thought it would have made more sense to join the RMFL up with the Riverland League.

Wouldn't think that the RMFL would be to happy about being moved to the SE zone, they could end up having to provide most of the players. The boys down south dont seem to be keen on interleague or zone footy can never get anywhere near their best players available.

i have heard that the RMFL are not happy with this outcome and as a result will not be participating in the carnival this year.
if this is the case it would be a real pity for the players who want to play in it.
im not sure if the other leagues that make up the southern zone are also boycotting the carnival?

From what I've heard (almost from the horses mouth) he will be playing for Mypo in the next week or so.

imperials have to clear him back into the league and from what i have heard there is a bit of bad blood between the two so it will be interesting to see if they do it straight away or drag it on for a while.
knowing imps they would no doubt make it difficult for him and take their sweet time processing it...

but he will be a big in for mypo when he does take the field.

There are a few supporters from Mypo that arnt happy about this one .Instead of spending money for lynn they have the junoirsto fill this spot
