Also Nuri are they the real deal? Great for the comp seeing Tanunda get beat. Would hate to be playing against them next weekend!!!!! ;)

Fantastic to see Nuriootpa get up on the weekend. Stafford was waiting since pre season to face Tanunda and he took his chance on saturday.

I know the Dog Track has been as hard as a rock over the last few weeks, this cannot be helping the Tigers and their weary legs.
Barossa definately came to play on the weekend, full credit to Sponge and his Barossa crew, no one can question the homework he does on his opposition from week to week.
Sharpy, Heater Commane, Spencer, Moore, Taylor, Kent all stood up when the game was there to be won, not too mention two possible goals of the year in the last quarter!

nuri are an evely balanced side with no real stars and few injury concerns will be hard to beat on their home patch this year.

Totally agree with that call mpm. gives the rest of us a bit of heart.
Are we underestimating how good a players nicholls, gibson, cragg-sappsford, foulis are?

As i stated in a earlier post i am not going to knock Craig Dawe, what he has done so far this season with the troops has been first class. I think this one will go down as a learning curve for a rookie coach, Craig was the first one to admit back at the clubrooms that if he had his time again he would do some things differently.

I wouldnt be talking up Nelsons coaching or saying he outcoached Craig Dawe. The big names players for Barossa Districts stood up and were outstanding in that last qtr, thats what they get paid the big bucks for. I doubt it was a spine tingling 3/4 time speech that got them up.

This week is our big test against arch rival Willaston , they would be choc full of confidence after easily disposing of the fairys last weekend.

Hope the Willaston bar has that shed on the hill stocked up with West End, great venue to watch local footy... except for the one eyed willaston supporters.

The clock is ticking at South Gawler , which coach will go first Terry Wallace or Demien Herzick ?

Knowing Sponge very well and being close to him on the weekend i can honesly say he works harder than any other coach that i have been coached by or been around. Its great to learn off him.

don't think the wfc boys are reading too much into the slapping of the fairies, south looked pretty ordinary the tigers would still be skinny odds to make the four this year.

i'll be at this game pac-man for a few beers over what should be a hotly contested game with a seat in the top four of musical chairs up for grabs. i'm just hoping your semi retarded followers don't have their usual bout of terrets and i don't have to throw full beer cans at them.

south can't blame herzick for their form afterall they have him on a 2 year deal. maybe they need to have a good look at their stock or not set their goals so high at the start of the season.

Come on Pac Man let's be fair. If you're going to bag a coach when his team doesn't play well and blame him for the loss, then you have to apportion some of the credit to the same fella when he has a good win like the Doggies did. Why don't you just be man enough to admit you don't like him, because he definitely CAN coach.
If you don’t like my words, don’t listen. If you don’t like my appearance, don’t look. If you don’t like my actions, turn your head; It’s as simple as that.

So long as they're having to use blokes like keith houston south will struggle.. I thought they had done the best recruiting in the league this year?

They are going be down the bottom for a few years with what they've got.
