I was windering about that... Must've been pretty serious for eight matches... that's the best part of next season...

I was hoping he would get 18 games.... maybe they took his intelligence into consideration and a guilty plea

  Let me guess the tribunal were all Tumby haters.

From what I have heard Spida was up to the usual dirty Rambler tricks and came off second best

While we are discussing Great Flinders Footy. Has Martin Baillie done a deal with Tumby for next year? If so they'll cope without Sam Read for a while. The two monster forwards they will have will be more than a handful for most oppostion defences. Also from what i've heard, it seems there is a fair number of Lincoln footballers looking at re-stocking cougars and Eu's lists. There are several Demons looking to re-unite with Cunnas at Cougars, A couple of South lads apparently heading to Cougars with an ex-cougar. And Two great senior players of ours are looking at a EU move? WHY.....

Why does this keep happening? Any thoughts? :(

maybe the players want a change because the fact up here the footy and the netball follow each other so a bit better atmosphere? or maybe EU and Cougars are offering good money?
with the sammy read/spida minhard incident spida brought it on himself by 1 trying to bump sammy when the ball was 15 metres away which is illegal and warrents a free kick and 2. when he went to bump him he bent down which caused sammy 2 get him high. just an absaloute disgrace that he got 8 games for doing nothing

Hey MarblePark,

So PS- One issue from the night. Thank you to the people (MRFC and BFC) who took issue politely and with manners, but to those who spoke aggressively, used profanity, and failed to set an example for the young footballers present, expect letters and confrontation on your terms (that is agressive and profane) in the near future.

The reason BFC didn't complain is because the reason the under 13's didn't get a count was because of someone from their club. As for " confrontations on your terms". Bring it on. It's not hard to see which clubs some of the officials come from.

On an unrelated matter, when this post was made, I was with Brock Jantke. We were nowhere near a computer/phone/internet capable device.
Having said that, I wouldn't mind CU effing off...

Now, congratulations to the following medal recipients at tonight's junior count:

Under 13:
Alfredo Cabada (WFC) Winner
Jake Nicholls (BFC) Runner up
Blake Montgomerie (BFC) Leading goal kicker
Under 15:
James Lakin (LSFC) Winner
William Roderick (MPFC) Runner up
Cameron Tabe (LSFC) Leading goal kicker
Under 17:
Brayden Traeger and Mitchell Hall (Both LSFC) tied winners
Michael Harders (WFC) and James Blewitt (MPFC) tied runners up
Rhys Jackamarra (MPFC) leading goal kicker

Great season by all the young lads.

PPS- If you're all so fantastic, please nominate for my position (Assistant Secretary) at the AGM and do the effing job yourselves.

good luck to lincoln south today 3 tuff matches will have to play very well to win any of them but i like our chances in all. the u17s offer the greatest interest for me against the rageing hot favourites (peckers).lincoln south have loads of talent treager, mcevoy, hall, bawden all will play well.the next three players hold the key for me harvey, stockham and hill one of these kids has to kick 4 goals for souths to win good luck to the b grade they have had a wonderful year expect scotty jarvis to throw everything at bostons today.well the suns out looks to be a great day

fev, look you may be disappointed with 8 games, but obviously when a player gets knock out cold behind play something has happened. spider may well have tried in your words "bump sammy when ball was 15m away" but the fact is spider was left out cold. i also believe your 15m is a bit off, i did see it and i believe it was more like 20m. however perhaps we could say sammy didn't mean to get him that good and it was one of those things, but 8 games is about right. gerbs got 3 at the start of the year for a shepherd that unfortunatey broke the guys jaw.
as for us offering good money and the other stories i am still gardening before cricket season starts, head to victor for a short holiday before we start drawing up a list, but i would love it if those stories were true.
