Hamsy retires every year, looks slow, looks unfit and then averages about 6 goals a game. On top of this now we here that there is a whole new crop of players coming through. When will we get a break??

Does anyone know whats happening with VH. Someone posted on here a while back that there had been a "mass" walkout. Anyone know if they've lost a heap? And picked up any?

Interesting to note that bailey and schmidt look like they are leaving Compass (posted on Murrayville forum), also spoke to Jackson recently and he is gone as well. Have Compass begun replacing these guys?

I think you'll find it's Ben Thompson who retires each year but the rest of your description accurately describes both of them. Both breeding quite well. Apparently Willunga are considering changing the name of their organisation to the Willunga Football Stud. My sources tell me that even Mitch Portlock is three months pregnant with his first child.

Victor have signed Neil Reeves and his brother from Christies beach. Neil is a young solid key forward who should make an impact in gsfl. Great pair of hands and moves well. Played very well in 2006 but lost hunger last year and probably only played 10 games. To my knowledge Victor have kept their southern league recruits.

Interesting to hear mate, they've needed a key forward for a few years now, pretty much since Gibbs retired. Now they've got a handy forward they should improve a bit, and if they dont lose many should push for a finals position.

Wouldn't put all your eggs in that basket similar style to Badenoch and Jared can be a bit hit or miss!

pretty soild. dominated against us in Round 1. Didn't seem to be moving around real well but just his experience and ability to read the play was the key!

Mainly from watching last year although badenoch did spend a bit of time at Morphies at which by all reports could have played A's if he wanted to try. Seems to be a bit of a running theme with them potential is there just no desire.

Although getting on a little and his body literally falling apart, Hueskes was awesome last year. His leadership within the team was literally something I had never experienced with any other team, and as LF said above, his timing and experience got him over his injuries. Great bloke and a even better footballer!

To be honest Huey has pretty much given up drinking so we didn't see him on the gas at all!!! I know you probably just fell off your chair but this is the honest truth.
I know him personally, so Ooga Booga has been one of my favourites played over the years..

It's been reported that Walsh from Strath has moved on and from talk last year it was said that Strath was going after the young tall ruck from Compass, does anyone know if this has happened??? Could that have been why Walsh moved on?
Also a couple of star players from Strath were looking at an A1 club in the Northern suburbs...did they move or stay on???
