You would have to say they are looking def stronger than last year. have picked up afew gun players in Sayers (big gun) Retalick (big fella) frith (will kick goals) vanders (one tuff cookie and can play) wilson (good defender/tagger) i think they will finally finish in the top 4. have obv lost the 5 back to paralowie but i think they will def do better than last year. (supose cant really do any worse)

That is 5 players in and 5 players out. You think that this batch has more potential than the 07 group Fuzzy?

I really hope peake do well this year but i think we all agreed last season that they were still about 3 or 4 quality players short of being competitive. The 5 out have been covered with 5 ins but will it be enough?

i was just naming afew mate. they still have recruited more players than what i had written. yes i do think they have more potential.

At the Karoonda Farm Fair yesterday.

Wasn't too much footy talk but I did hear that:

A) Karoonda have some recruits coming up for a look this weekend.

B) They are very unhappy with Mannum for pinching some of their players.

C) They are happy the club has survived for another season.

Gee whiz Carey - would've been good to catch up.
I only got there about 2pm and pretty much settled into the beer tent when I got there. Apart from watching the Mallee Magic Millions - where Silicone Skyline showed his stuff!

Everyone get to Pinnaroo for the Spud festival this weekend, it'll go off. It's been getting national exposure on telly.

And that is just at Malleebull's house, he's not even going to Pinnaroo on the weekend!

Footywise, here is my prediction of the ladder for 08

Murrayville
BDT
Lameroo
Peake If their talk is on the money this year
Pinnaroo
Karoonda

Reckon BDT will fare better with Ash Masters getting back into it eventually after his knee injury.
