To BFC and in particular WCP and Hully, commiserations on the year in terms of finals but, although you may feel it as of little consequence, I thought the club's efforts were an improvement on last year by the BFC even tho I'm not sure whether you won more games or not. One more step will mean finals participation next year. It obviously takes a bit to get into the habit of winning after so long on the outer.
I think everyone would have to say it has been the best in terms of evenness for many years. Tasmans just lost too many close ones, Bostons Iv'e already mentioned, Marbles about where you would expect them with the player losses from 2008. I know finals are finals and anything can happen but I think whichever of this 3 had of made the finals would have got beaten in the 1st semi.
Souths the big improvers whcih was great for the comp, Mallees favourites in most peoples minds and Waybacks still a huge chance. Thats about how I see the season ending. Waybacks have too many guns to lose and assuming they are all fit enough will win the GF.
Harry to win the MM by a fair margin

Does PL footy really need the Tigers, after last years efforts I'd say no. It's a bye anyway, might as well just call the day off and go fishing!![/quote]

I was outside smoking when the incident occured and it came out of the blue. A former mail medalist came up and king hit our reserves grade coach braking his jaw. It was a cowardly act and typical of what port lincoln people have endured for many years from people from this club. The scuffle that followed was sorting it all out and a few of the boys got a few good one's in which was justified. The troublemakers came to the club for one reason. 1. To start trouble

Cu I think its madness. The junior sides that win Sunday will not play another game for 3 weeks which will be the GF. Way to long between games.

the demons have 7 players to come into that side that beat tasmans. 3 weeks break before a grandfinal is way too long what were the PLFL thinking? how many kids play both sports anyway?

I was kind of hoping the night didn't get a mention, but ok...

"The Fight..." Which was one of a few.

I have no problem naming the pr#ck that belted Chook... Archie Saunders... Apparently he was involved in some other incidents- see the first story in the police report in today's times...

I don't believe any of the Bryants (Chunky, Jars, or Springs) were there at any stage, but what started the fight simply was archie walked up to chook and went bang. simple as that.

Other things the League are investigating... Well... lets end that one... Apart from being a Boston supporter, I am involved at the League, and nothing is being investigated. Not even the fight at this stage.

"Swapping of jumpers" happened the week before last, after Turd had his nose broken in the ressies, IronKnob. the complaint was made too late, nothing to come of it...

Next question...

Oops, forgot this one...

Bostons pay the power bill, so whose business is it if the lights are on? play on...
