Tumby got over the line by 4 goals, ramblers got to within 5 points in the last 1/4 but we kicked away with it.
HS obviously didnt make 2 much of a difference for EU. Heard Martin Bailliee got stretchered off what happened there eags?
Lock got up over cougars which has put ramblers out of the 4 i think

Had a good look at the undermanned demons on Saturday and make no mistake where the premiership cup is heading! It is heading to Windsor Castle.

Versatlie forward line of Sara for the long bomb, Sampson the perfect foil on the lead as the third forward. Williams a proven performer at CHF. Vogelsanger and Montgomerie can finish if allowed space. Throw in Kelsh, George, Hunt and Goodwin across half forward resting up there/running forward and it is potent mix.

The midfield 7 players mentioned below are all qaulity players and an unrivaled group in the PLFL.

The defence will hold up. Cragg-Sapsford leads a commited defence, Stevens at full back and the versatile Langford give little away. Green and Rawson provide some run.

Forwards: Sara, Sampson, Williams, Montgomerie, Vogelsanger
Midfield: Kelsh, Keatley, Davidson, Hunt, George, Millard, Goodwin
Defence: Cragg-Sapsford, Stevens, Green, Langford, Rawson
Rucks: Westbury, Blight
BL are $1-00-2  thats not even $1-01

marble park is a sunday drinking machine. I am crook today but I dont know wether it was from all the drinking or looking at MP's tracksuit top.

Does PL footy really need the Tigers, after last years efforts I'd say no. It's a bye anyway, might as well just call the day off and go fishing!![/quote]

Matt Keatley a chance for MM? Always catches the eye and is a very smooth mover.

Keatley very highly regarded by demons and is proven umpire friendly. Always laughed when posters got on here and bagged him...sources tell me that there wont be many games this year he won't poll highly in B&F. Reminds me of Josh Hollitt...nothing much to look at, but a ball magnet.

A very significant 'in' occurred for the Dees on Saturday. M Blight p0layed first game since end of minor round last year and didn't miss a beat.
Just what the dees wanted to support their young ruck stocks. I think Goodwin, Millard and George all missed on the weekend.

AG I know TRR's a big guy and needs plent of air in his tyres, but make sure they don't explode.....

What did WCP mean in his coaches comments with the first sentence?

To quote the great man ""Players from both sides should be congratulated for their efforts in trying conditions, the weather was also quite bad"

It all depends when he made the statement. If it was made anytime after 9pm on Saturday night I would say he would be refering to the weather twice :drinkers:

I've never known a team more likely to capitulate under duress no matter who they have on the park.

That said, there's plenty of potential there to win it if they can hold it together.
