Sorry Shrek, do you want a club to cheat on there player points and be stripped premiership points to live things up a little bit or something mate? Or has that been done already down Blair Athol way?

Throwing it out there as the event is beconing....

Favourites for the YPFL medal????

Gatto and haughy (biased I know) keep getting in the top two best for cougars each week...Interesting if they get top votes in winning games? Might be a good spread of votes across the board for all teams this year so could be won with small numbers?

Ardrossan prob wont produce a winner but good vote getters might be young local kid Hayden Pierson who is a very determined footballer although years of development yet to come.

Dot Cotsaris a great recruit from the SFL will catch the umps eye a little with his courages in and under stuff and of course ever reliable George Rowntree plays well every week.

Young Sammy Lodge started to play some amazing footy way beyond his years. This kid is off to school in town next year and starting to make his name known at the eagles. His attitude and determination will carry him a long way to making the grade down there to. Especially if he gets a mentor like Gus Rowntree. One of the best kids I have coached is young sam...

And of course although he only played a little over half the season Milo is a freak serious. Some of the shit that man can still do at his age and with his crippling injuries is nothing short of mental strength at its finest...Have to get some votes given the goals he has kicked in few games he played...And losing ones as well....FREAK!!!!

Anyone from the crows or Kadina but lots of great players competing for votes there...

Any thoughts? Names? Wrap ups?

And Shaun Gatto to coach the Cougars within the next two years......Great move forward for them....Wealth of SANFL experience and a very good footy brain.

Great man to boot so no doubt has the respect of the place already...

McMillan and neuman wouldn't get a game in the ones, hardly ins. Harradine Sansbury and Burnell can play tho. I realise neuman and McMillan have been good in the past but on current form in the b grade, hardly massive inclusions.

Ardrossan no hope for the mail medal, haughey cougars only chance but gatto will take votes. Mcwaters from the eagles, matson from pasky, lawson Waller and lee from the bloods poll well, jordan from moonta and Osborn from the crows all medal contenders.

If gatto gets appointed the job will this see more eastern park boys make the trip west each week or will Eastern park make a play for his services to get some boys back?

Pitt would have won the medal if he didn't get injured. He was having his best year in a long time. Lee will go close but I hate to say it! Jordan has got this one stitched up by a mile. No-one to steal votes off him. Where did Gatto play SANFL?

Good job at trying to guess a medallist. Why don't you try and guess another 10 more blokes to be sure.

Which club has the $$$$$?

Known this lad since he was a little boy running around salisbury nth. Kid can seriously play....Back to back B&F's and a premiership in two years at the parkies playing Div2 Amateurs. And as I was involved with the club at the time, and in my opinion won the flag himself that day. A real leader. Started preseason at Pt Adelaide. In my 30 yrs of senior footy I cant remember to many that trained harder than this bloke....No shit he is a machine if not a freak!!!!! And if im right still only around 25yrs old....If that?

I know he has connections with the Gatto boys, Hancock and Haughy as they played in the same div2 premiership. Heads and shoulders above those boys ability wise though....But interestingly I ran into him at Moonta when we played down there earlier this yr as they had the bye that week. He went and watched some of his childhood mates playing there from his Salis nth days...Always looking super fit to. I recon they got in his ear that day so wouldnt be suprised, if he does head to the YP thats where he will play....Great asset to any club and I wouldnt hesitate in recomending any club looking for quality character's in their recruiting to speak with him. Sure he will join his mates at Moonta though.

Certainly would take this comp by storm.....And his old man Daisy is a funny bugger to boot...

Fair set of clubs for young bloke. Next year on YP be what. 4 clubs in 4 years or 5 in 5. definate worth investment.

Heard his old man stirred up a bit of trouble while he was playing at Nuri last year with a few mates from a motorcycle club??

Not likely....No disrespect to any of the parkie boys but none of them would play A grade back there even at div3 level which is where the parks are heading next year. Shaun actually retired end of last year but decided to go around with the cougars so sure he wouldnt player/coach, Huaghy and Troy gatts would go back to being just good/ordinary A graders but the rest of the boys they would be the first to say they wouldnt get a game in the one's.

And again not likely, the cougars obviously need to build on their recruiting next year but they would be silly to keep looking in eastern parks backyard...most of the boy's already playing with them are playing B grade and the only other two making an impact on the YPFL is Shaun and Haughy so why would you go there again...great lads all of them but when it comes to whats best for the club they need to look elsewhere....Never understood why they would pay a recruit to play B grade each week (would only be a b grader at parkies) because you have to many in the A grade. Stronger clubs yes. Rebuiling clubs never...surely you can muster enough locals to play B for free and give them experience at the same time...Never no might find a late bloomer.
