Imps started the third really well kicking 3 goals straight to hit the lead only to have Jervois respond by kicking the next 5 or so to go into three quarter time up by 5 goals. Jervois kicked the first goal in the 4th, the next 5 or so minutes were a bit scrappy but then Imps got there second win and came home with a full sail to kick the last 5 or 6 goals to tie it up. They then had a chance to kick a score to put themselves in the lead only to be stopped on the line. Jervois then went the full length of the ground to almost have a chance to kick a score when the siren went.

SOUNDS LIKE THE JERVOIS BOYS NEED A BIT OF WORK ON THEIR FITNESS, MAYBE SOME SHOULD TRY & TRAIN MORE THAN ONCE A WEEK, THEY WILL FIND IT EASIER TO RUN OUT A GAME.

** Some interesting names in the Ramblers details, particularly Luke Button. If he plays a full year, that could be enough to make Ramblers flag favourites. Also Ben Dougall, a young lad, probably still eligible for Under 17's, kicked 3 goals.

Trev Rigney is the best mark i have ever seen. He is the human highlight reel when it comes to taking hangers, he is bound the win someone a car on almost footy legends one day.

Rumour has it that his leap isnt quite what it used to be. Maybe his traditional quiet 20 beers on a friday night is catching up with him hey Hills!!

I dunno if I would say his leap has dropped off especially after seeing him leap off the shoulders of a 6'6 ruckman!

Look out for Pedlers best mate Paul Lindsay, he may be pulling on the boots with the Pedler boys for a few games - esp against the higer placed sides.
Surely he would be the best ruckman in the RMFL even if unfit, I only say this as there wouldn't be a ruckman in the RMFL that'd match him pound for pound??

Would be interesting if this happened, but even if he qualifies for finals, he'd be hard to fit into the team as he'd be worth 4 points. And if they put him in a minor round game against some of the better clubs, then presumably they'd have to rest one of their other imports to ensure they were within their points allocation.

Played at WWT for last 4 or 5 seasons, was one of the best ruckmen in SANFL.

Originally from West Australia, drafted to AFL, played mainly for Geelong's VFL side, then recruited by WWT. Retired at end of last season, pretty much injury riddled.

i got a copy of the budget from the weekend and it had a description of the points system and all the players who are worth points. i think mypo only has 6 points allocated at the time of printing (+ morris who for some reason is worth 1 point, despite being cleared from the Malle League- but he is only playing reserves at mypo apparently), so they would be able to fit in Lindsay if it is true?

sounds interesting? could strengthen our association team if he is playing here then?? maybe the cods could have a win this year?

He retired due to an ankle problem that he carried for the last two years, so it would be interesting to see if he does play again. Would obviously dominate most leagues not just the RMFL. It's also reported though that he took on the role with WWT as the club's talent Manager, so wouldn't he be busy on saturday's?

Hills, would you know how many players at Jervois train only once a week?

I can't see why they couldn't run out the game on sat if they train twice, maybe they need to train 3 times a week!
