Think about it, would mean the Sfl would have a 2 div comp of 10 teams and 12 teams and it would not be necessarily div 1 and 2. Have you worked out who the other teams are yet ? S,A,W,H and R. Pretty easy.

Heard (albeit secondhand) that it will be a 20 team comp in 2013 and then 2 divs in 2014. The stumbling block is obviously those clubs mid table worried about going to Div 2. Clubs mentioned from HFL were Lofty, bridgewater, Kangarilla, Blackwood, Meadows and Ironbank. Apparently these discussions are quite advanced and the SFL are actively trying to make this happen. Would make a very interesting comp.

Full credit to Uris. Their second half today was fantastic......just would not lay down.

Back to the drawing board for us and a date with the 'Pies or TV next week.

Didn't get to see the game yesterday but looks like a few of us on here including me and whiteline, both predicting straight sets for Uri couldn't be more wrong. Watched an impressive Magpies outfit today and hopefully an awesome encounter will follow. Any thoughts on the weekends results?

How true Outsmarts. How true. The Cabbage Cutters have almost owned September over the last 2-3 years so I've got egg on my face at the moment.

I missed today's game but saw the results on the HFL website. I think that this year's finals series in Central Div has been an absolute belter with a couple of heart-stoppers with less than a goal in it and TV shaking it up by dumping the Thunderers.

Uris earned the direct route to the GF and can freshen up while the Roos and 'Pies belt each other on the expanses of Lobey oval. If MB and Hahndorf have a really tough, fast and close contest at Lobey will the winner still have the legs for the GF?

I'm hoping that Hooter and the boys prevail in the Prelim with relative ease and that Suthers and his Cabbage Cutters get badly sunburnt watching the game and pork out on lots of hot dogs, chips and coke and get fat and lazy. I don't want much, do I?

..........but.........sounds like Hahndorf were in great form today. I've liked the 'Pies all year and it sounds like only a brave person will tip against them this week. I'm not particularly brave but I will tip against them only because of my own club allegiances.

Hope it's a massive crowd at Lobey.

Hahndorf is on the right so they are not involved. Maccy haven't been asked as everyone thinks they no be around. Consider all teams from there approachable re a move and most actively discussing as the benefits put forward are huge and the SFL teams are not your sissy acts either !!!! Top 3 of 5 maybe from what I hear. Interesting times ahead. It is as I understand it all about the admin at the HFL and their pig headedness and clubs are sick of it in a nutshell. Pretty impressive blueprint by the way. Will be a big shock to Gus and his boys once tabled officially. Southern Hills Football sounds good doesn't it.

Technically the oval is on the left

Bloody hell. Well my refusal to do footy tips is looking justified! I thought no-one would TOUCH the Roos yet here come Uraidla. Although, my tip to watch hahndorf is looking like a genuine chance. Confidence is a big thing, surely the Pies would be full of that at the moment.
Barker B's out in straight sets. Would have been a sobering day.

Geepers Barker had a bad day yesterday wth the 13's and b grade out now. The ground was in good nick but jeepers don't spend so much money on your a grade and invest in a siren. You have a good PA system but crickey the siren is crap. And wow were not Hahndorf impresive yesterday. The roo boys may go out in straight sets. I see a monkey coming around again. Pity after all the big bucks they splash - lesson 1 - money don't buy flags good coaches do. Hahndorf and Uri have one of those barker don't - he proved it saturday.

Thats a bit harsh. Mt Barker have dominated all year. Every time they have been challenged they have stood up. They have one bad game and all of a sudden Samuels cant coach. The measure of his coaching will be seen on how he gets the team to regroup after a disappointing loss. Hahndorf may have been impressive but Mt Barker will be much better off now that the coach has been able to assess his chargers under genuine pressure. I suspect a very positive response this week.

The first thing Mt Barker should be doing is getting some seating in the form of a grand stand, other then that the oval was in great condition and a superb day for footy. Mt Barker coach is obviously a smart guy and I would think they are still favourite for the flag but getting ahead of themselves will not help them so whiteline dont count your chickens before they hatch....yet again. Although I do agree im sure Handorf will rate themselves a great chance. How is Lobey Oval looking?

Come on Outsmarts, you're no fun mate. I was returning fire to Supercoach. The important thing for the Roos is that the players will have their feet on the ground....Hooter will make sure of that. It really has been a terrific finals series and MB vs Hahndorf in a Prelim Final must surely pull a huge crowd on Saturday. I haven't seen Lobey Oval lately but I rate it a lot so I'm guessing it's in top nick.

The Hills Courier newspaper has cocked up. The Prelim Final at Lobey is not, as they say, on Sunday. The Prelim Final is on Saturday. Wouldn't want anybody to read The Courier and turn up a day late!

Wonder if Gus and the Blackwood president will spend another hour in close talks at the prelim final. Still chatting about the new division Onkas Hills Football League and how good the Blackwood oval is looking.

the funniest thing about this trolling is that he thinks we really care if blackwood remains in the hfl.

Well, throughout the year my tips have been good. Finals - RUBBISH! So in saying that Mt Barker will bounce back & make the grandy, the Pies will probably get up!
