cheers

Very tight game - lots of numbers to the ball
looked like both camps keeping cards close to the chest
Demons had a brief purple patch at the start of the second qtr kicking first 3 goals and getting to within a point then Roos kicked away again
was quite a scrappy affair but the Roos always seemed to have their measure when it was required - good 3rd quarter and with players being rested for most of the last pulled away for a 5 goal win
Mt Barker also winners of Courier Cup

Either side rest players?

From what I could see the Roos were missing Chaplin (Ran water) Ralph and Poynter.
Uris, not sure! Should be an interesting finals series.

Could be at Onkas. All the hype about them pre-season proved to be incorrect.

I think some other clubs will be hoping the Coach stays at Onkas.

Doggies host the 'Pies at the ground rumoured to be hosting the GF. Dogs are in free-fall and the only finals action they're going to see is manning the BBQ on GF day. 'Pies by 30 points.

Bridgy versus the Woodsmen on the huge grassy savanna at Cally. The Woods blew a handy 3/4 time lead last week and you would think are fired up to bounce back, but I'm tipping Bridgy to chalk up their second win for the year. Raiders by 12.

The Devs host the Barkeroos on the slope. Devs are fighters and the Roos are not looking as sharp as they were earlier in the year. Don't get excited because I can't see the valiant red and whites toppling the undefeated Roos. Roos by 45.

TV and Bankers lock horns out at Mt Pleasant in what might be an Elimination Final warm-up. I like TV because they've got a bit of grunt (that's a g and an r) about them and the Thunderers are the smokey in the finals. Game of the day for mine. TV by 8 in a closey.

Uris take on Lobey at the Cabbage Patch. That's 2nd versus 7th. That's perennial premier versus perennial cellar dweller. That's 13 wins versus 5 wins. That's 800 or so points conceded against 1600 or so points conceded. That's a big fat forward line against little skinny runts (and that is spelled with an r). It all points to Uris in a one-sided cakewalk. Lobey by 10 in the upset of the season.

Lobethal put the pressure on uraidla today and should have won. The demons were head hunting most of the game. The crowd in the grand stand were a disgrace to their club. Personal attacks on the lobethal players and support staff were not warranted . What has happened to uraidla no longer the nice guys. Certainly did not like a grand final team today

People in glass house's shouldn't throw stones.....played Lobey only a few weeks ago and Jenkins and wills love throwing so punches not to mention number 21, can't remember his name. Im sure both teams were giving as good as they received. And last time I checked the team who deserved to win often wins the game.

Pretty sure those boys are not punch happy, maybe well provoked. All three you mentioned take their football very seriously. And I said should have won not deserved to win they let the game slip in the end. At least they are gracious in defeat and will shake hands with their opponents.

Sounds like the TV player was as stupid as the umpire. Would love to have seen the reaction from Eichs. Should be a nice spicy Elimination Final in a fortnight.

It was a very scrappy uninspiring game for most of it, both teams should have players to come back in. I hope it fines up for September and we can see a better quality final in September.

Would want to hope for a dry couple of weeks if Mt Pleasant is to be up to scratch for finals footy. Resembled an ice rink the way players were slipping over Saturday.

Assume ovals chosen on how HFL can get most $$$ out of?
