topcat wrote:P32 it sounds like that the jervois imps game would have been a very good game to watch . I went and watched the MYPO MENINGIE game it was a joke maybe MENINGIE should think about going to the mallee league they might win agame there . MYPO looked good with J PEDLER in they will push for a top 3 spot .

Panther32 wrote:There is a bit of a write about it through the Imperials website from their coach, but basically the Imperials got a pretty good start to the game but Jervois pulled back to have it pretty much tied up at quarter time. Imps kicked the first goal I think in the 2nd but then the Bluds kicked a few going into half time to be up by 16 points. Imps started the third really well kicking 3 goals straight to hit the lead only to have Jervois respond by kicking the next 5 or so to go into three quarter time up by 5 goals. Jervois kicked the first goal in the 4th, the next 5 or so minutes were a bit scrappy but then Imps got there second win and came home with a full sail to kick the last 5 or 6 goals to tie it up. They then had a chance to kick a score to put themselves in the lead only to be stopped on the line. Jervois then went the full length of the ground to almost have a chance to kick a score when the siren went.
