Why couldnt they play games at other grounds around Pirie & Augusta on Saturdays i.e. Ports, Etsa, Chinnery or the oval across from Sollies, the SGL can still take the gate?

This is the SGL you are talking about.
Port oval is easily the best oval in Pirie but no games are played there.
