You could have Paul and Horwood as well and still be cr@p. Guessing that baggy hasn't played for 5 years...interesting decision to come out retirement if true. Maybe a result of the GCC...maybe another employee of the OPM Range company.

I dont understand your abreviations bluestheboy?
Very good pick up for us, has been training with us for months and a true gentleman to go with it. Fittest player in the competition and it will be great to watch him and Semmler play kick to kick while the opposition look on in awe. One wonders why he chose to play for us and not your beloved demons? I know the answer

Not to worry lds, that is on a need to know basis.... 8)
Baggy wouldn't have pulled on the red and blue for nearly 10 hears, has been aligned with 2 other PLFL clubs and one GFFL club since then. My guess he is there because of the clean air and picturesque set up..... ;)

One of many reasons. Just glad to have him on board and continue our amazing finals run that dates back decades. plus we do have the best team of the decade reputation to uphold afterall.

Waybacks beat us by about 4 goals but we were clearly the better side on the day. We were within a kick in the last term but got overrun.
We should have won the reserves as well but for a couple of stupid umpiring decisions in the final minutes.
Blacker was best on ground by a mile and completely showed Davidson how to play the game. Arbon is loving playing in defence and Marsh was good again from the centre. our problem is we need a centre half forward and centre half back as Tabe and Cyril are flank players, they do a great job but are undersized. Kane Williams and Sampson got to much of the ball. You other posters are correct when you say Keatley is over rated and Joe doesnt shut up all day. I just wish Beau had have connected with that punch he threw.
Danilo and Minhard were good players for us as well.
Pie warmer did nothing as usual
Goodwin did an ankle early but I dont think it is that bad though.
Those two country umpires didn't have much idea today.

Waybacks by 22 points with no bench after half time. Well done to young Ben Finlayson who made his debut today at 15 years of age. Youngest demon debutant I can remember.
Didn't see the game so not sure who was the best team but definately know who got the points....
Reports were that tigers were very hard at it and showed that they can at least push the top side. Honorable loss all things considered.

Did Ben play???

That's great! I played cricket with him last year (another young debut for him), and he seems like a real trier.

Saw him during the under 17's match with a lovely bandage over his nose, so he wasn't even 100%!

Honestly did you have to ask that question?.
overloaded wrote:who won the other games MP or CU?
We went down by a monumental figure(B's) given we played Mallee's A grade side. No surprise  , those A graders have no heart, Had a great opportunity to have a win albeit it wasn't Peckers best team. But nooo, play like girls again don't they.

Also heard that Souths got up by about 15 goals.

In regards to our seniors, is their any motivation amongst the group? Does anyone actually want to play this year. Or have they all given up because of how hard it is to get a win? Very very disappointing, not a good look for the juniors who all look up to you boys.

Clarification....Mallees enforced a club rule, don't train, don't play., Seeing some quality footballers playing B grade that day was a bit frightening. If they stay that way no one will get within 20 goals of them
