GFFL ladder i think
W L
Tumby 7 0
Lock
Ramblers
Yeelana
Cougars
Eyre United 0 7

Tumby actually 6 1, unsure about positions 2-5 after the weekend with a couple of upsets, eyre united 0 7 but improving and the addition of tom baldi back in their team is a good one.

Napoleon in GF
Tumby def EU by about 12 goals in the end after a competitive 1st half
UY upset lock by 2 goals and
Cougars game ramblers a hiding
going to be an interesting year with ramblers, lock, yellana and cougars all beating each other and all fighting for positions 2-5

So Pete Shanley's hitting the tribunal again?

I didn't stick around for the a's, so WCP/Eski/Steakn, did you guys see it? I heard it didn't look too good...

what is it with ramblers? they beat you boys but lost to cougars again in the showdown, and were thumped by lock and we just lost to them, and they are the reigning premiers...

who did MB play for after all the confusion last week?

not sure if UY are the real deal..

lock cant travel

cougars are a bit hit and miss, if they knock you off, then we will know that they are serious about silverware

saints will get better, that first win is just around the corner

blues are the front runners but still afraid of ramblers

Didnt look good from the sidelines MP.... swung a punch then a melee formed then a punch again. Bit of a brain snap. Deserves a couple of weeks to think about it. The lad was sent off and cost his side big time.... I would have hated to be him and have to front up to WCP on the bench after doing that!!!
OL....The peckers finished 5th in 2002 if memory serves me correctly?
BL are $1-00-2  thats not even $1-01

Marty baillie played for EU started at CHB then moved forward but was well held by young Tom Kelly, also agree EU will prob have a win sooner rather then later.
Not sure whats going on with Ramblers played well against us but have struggled last 2 games
Lock when they are on are a good side but have been inconsistent
Cougars a bit the same as lock
Yellana are a good running side but probably lack 2 or 3 more tall big bodied key postion players
and as for us being scared of Ramblers i dont think thats the case just last 2 times we have played them they have played well and we havnt. they have had a good game plan against us and we just have to find other ways to play them

Now while I have seen a game between the two sides for a few years but from what I can gather its two things that need to combine for Tumby to lose a game. Fristly the weather (last two losses against this mob has had a windy day IIRC) and the other is Ramblers  when these two are present Tumby seem to drop their bundle and say its all too hard :?

We should start a most under-rated / most over-rated topic for the current season, ie, who needs to pull their finger out, or who has flourished where you wouldn't expect.

TFC over MJ/Stoll under: Cunningham
BFC over Carr/Bascombe under: Jacko?
MRFC over West/Sampson under: Hanson/Myers
LSFC over Castley/North under: Rodda/Campbell
WFC over Keatley/Vogelsanger under: Hunt
MPFC ???? under: Ainslie Betts
TFC.....the club for the future

What did you think of the game livefooty?

its not poor old tasmans we're our own worst enemy at the moment  we needed someone to run with carl!! we stopped when we got in front and thought that was all we needed to do,when we play like that we dont deserve to win,we have a good bunch of lads and we can all play but were not doing what needs to be done to get over the line, ill put my hand up n say i played shit and made some bad decisions but there are some lads in the side that need to do the same.we need to change something and soon so we can get something out of the year !!! frustrating getting so close and not going on with it.

Did you mean Sam North(BFC) or Andrew North(LSFC)

You don't rate Blacker or Dudley? Dudley doesn't look much, but he's a magic man. I agree that Blacker hasn't dominated like people have expected him to, but he has been very handy, just ask WCP

Agree with you on Montgomerie,Smith, Scruff and Kidney(which one?)

What do you think of Tabe? I have seen him play some good games, but not sure if he's quite there yet. Where has he been playing? Did he play CHF against us?
