Blackwood have always threatened to leave the HFL so I think the board will make sure Blackwood get their own way or else. My guess is weeks will be given by the HFL and Onkas will go the SANFL and have it over turned as it is widely known the HFL tribunral is extremely incompadent at handeling this sort of issue

Atlantis, what gives you the right to come on here and tell dead set lies about an individual?? If you're going to tell stories at least make them half believable. If you had ever met the man you're questioning before you would know it is completely against everything he and his family believe in!! To compare him to the thug that is Woolford from Onkas is almost as cheap as the cowardly act that 'man' performed on Saturday.
There were no previous punches from the bloke who is seeing a plastic surgeon to reshape his jaw and you know it!!
Apparently he showed no remorse at the hearing last night either. Not even a simple apology.

Low act. I don't understand the suspension, it should be GAMES shouldn't it? With what 7 games left, that's basically all he got. Sure his team will play finals so there's MAYBE 3 more but you shouldn't factor that in. If it's 10, say 10. Who's to say he'd be picked for finals? If he in theory wasn't, shouldn't he then sit out 3 next year?

Definatly a very low cowardly act. The player on the receiving end will suffer from this for a long time every part of his and his families life will be affected. It is bad enough that this sort of act occurs at parties and clubs etc surely we must not put up with it on the footy field. Football is a fantastic game and this year our league has been marred by a number of disgusting incidents. It needs to stop, it is a game and should be played in the spirit of which it is intended. Use your skills and know how to beat your player not your fist. The HFL needs to clean up this behaviour with harsh penalties. I hope the player from Blackwood has a quick recovery.

How's the way he couldn't even lay a tackle about 10 seconds later on a player that was hardly even jogging.

Try telling that to the player with a broken jaw. Obviously it was enough to cause serious damage. Doesnt matter who he plays for shouldnt happen.

Wow missed that on saturday. Havent seen something like that for about 10 yrs. If that was Matt Ewers i would be very surprised if that was provoked . I have known him for yrs and i wouldnt think he has ever thrown a punch, one real nice guy who loves his footy.

Provoked not provoked whatever, that Onkas guy was lucky to get off with the rest of this year! For anyone trying to defend the guilty person think of the victim who will have eat everything through a straw for the next 6 weeks and certainly not play footy again this season plus I imagine time off work.
