from winning the flag 3 years ago !

i have a holiday house near moonta and i try and catch 2 or 3 games a year. saw them belt wallaroo last year and they looked good. but then they got beaten by wallaroo in the last game. They had some hand forwards and Andy ladhams had the ball on a string. With the old coach back you would hope he would attract some solid players and hopefully push them back up the ladder.

Yeah, thats him. D4 premiership player at Portland, 2000 too. Played at fullback that year. Great bloke, and good, no-nonsense footballer.

I ran into him a while back, he said he was living at Moonta. I was just wondering if he played there last year, and how did he go ?

Just a question to YP boys, do teams over there usually have all their players that live in the city play in the trial games?

He may of not kicked 100 each year as I wasn't there for all of them but he certainly kicked over 500 in those 5 years and was named FF in Balak's team of the last 50 years.

I reckon he only kicked 100 in the first 2 years but I can't remember because I was only about 15. I'll take your word for it, but I thought he only kicked about 80 for a few years. Still pretty good, but he couldn't still be worth that much coin. He must be well over 30 by now?

No probs Carey, Matty O will play where the cash is thats for sure.

Moonta must be in the cash, our no 1 big man, Hayden Walker, knocked back some seriously big $$ to stay at home at Balak for considerably less. What Moonta offered could just about pay our 3 imports in total.

Matty O.. A very, very good player, who is worth ever penny. A player of that quality will always attract strong interest from alot of clubs.

Also good to hear that Walks is staying with the Peckers. I tip that the Peckers will be around the top 2 under Premiership coach A.Michael, who will no doudt demand the best out of the Peckers.
